Another reviewer put it best. STEER CLEAR! I have been taking my dog to this vet for a year for chiropractic adjustments to my dog. ZERO problems until today.... when she did not adjust my dog. I have been trying for over a week to get him in for an emergency session, and he is clearly in pain and discomfort. Again, she has adjusted him for a year and today for some reason, she does not do an adjustment because he is in pain and she does not want to cause more pain. She gave him muscle relaxers and pain medication, so logic says that a quick adjustment should have been performed right?!?! Instead she just lets him stay in a crate all day and then proceeded to charge me $160 for an exam, pain meds, and other junk fees. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided and I wish that I had read these reviews a year ago, or even since March, when she had her latest negative review. Take my advice people...its all smoke and mirrors. She should have adjusted my dog today, rather than treat both my dog and myself with disrespect and non service. My dog is still in pain and discomfort and she could have helped him today. I will make sure to leave a negative review anywhere she is listed to warn the public, as many of these other reviews are doing the same.

Dr. Williams and her staff are caring and my chihuahua LOVES them. This is important, because, my feisty little Chihuahua does not let just anyone pet or hold her and she will bark and try to bite when handled. As I was warning the vet technicians that she might bite they picked her up and she was totally fine with it! The staff and Dr. Williams all carried and loved on her and she acted as if she has known them forever! I was shocked! This was the first sign to me that she trusted them so I knew we were in the right place. I am so happy we went there, because, Dr. Williams has helped get our little baby back to health when she was very ill from taking a popular flea preventive given to her at a different vet. After she was all better, Dr.Williams performed the dental cleaning on her, which I was always scared to do since she is so tiny. It was successful and this has also helped our chihuahuas health, because, she had so many bad teeth that needed to go. We love this place and I highly recommend them. Also, the prices are affordable. Thank you Dr. Williams and staff. ;)

STEER CLEAR!!! If you move out of the city or state, they will treat you like dirt. They will tell you that you are not longer a client so do not matter at all. I have been simply trying to get my cats medical records. Apparently the fax and email are not functioning on their end, so I have yet to receive them ... after half a dozen tries and phone calls. They also DO NOT allow you to ask any questions about opinions on your animals state of health at the time they were seen. I am currently filing a complaint with the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Ironic that I have to file an official complaint to urge Dr. Williams to act compassionately towards me and send me the medical records. Please, unless you want unnecessary stress, find another vet. The name "Compassionate Care" is quite inaccurate. It seems like all that matters to Dr. Williams is how much money you are bringing in. Once the money stops flowing, you are thrown out with the garbage.

My experience with this vets office was simply awful at best. I had made an appointment to see Dr. Williams on 3/23/17, Instead, my dog was see by a Dr. Graham. When then called to verify the appt. no one said that Dr. Williams would not be there. Dr. Graham gave my dog an asian supplement that caused her to have vomiting & diarrhea. I returned the supplement & two additional supplements I purchased on 3/27/17. The office staff & Dr. Williams stated they would process my credit to my debit card that day.. To this day, no credit has been received. Today I made 3 phone calls & spoke with Tiffany who advised my refund had not been processed until today because the doctor forgot. Now I have to wait an additional 7 days on top of the 10 days I have already waited. They are quick to take your money, but not credit when it is due. The service is poor and the office is not very clean.

Having seen Dr. Williams for over 10 years, I am stunned to read some of the reviews on this page! I love Dr. Williams and her practice, she goes beyond the beyond to do the very best for all of my animals and always has. I have even called her with after hours emergencies and she hasnt let me down. She euthanised the only two dogs I have ever lost in my life, and I can imagine going to no-one else. She offers so much more than just Western medicine, and pharmaceuticals, she has Holistic options, including Chinese medicine, she adjusts backs, uses aromatherapy, does surgeries, has teeth cleaning specials, is careful not to overhydrate a sick dog, I could go on. Who do you know who can make a paralysed dog walk again, after acupuncture? Go to Compassionate Care with your furbaby, you will NOT be disappointed.

Not impressed! Dr. Williams didnt seem to have a clue about my pets condition. She didnt offer any clear advice or treatments to try. She seemed to get irritated with me for asking questions. I felt like she didnt have time for me and my pet and would rather be somewhere else. Also be prepared to wait a long time in the exam room before the Dr. comes in. I have since taken my pet to another holistic vet in the S.A. area and this Dr. actually has had proper training and I have seen results. Feel free to contact me for the real holistic veterinarians number.

I have been using Dr. Williams for the past 10 years. She has treated 5 of my Boxers over this time most of them from birth through end of life. I have always found her to be insightful, understanding, compassionate and patient. She is a wonderful Vet and I would not consider any other vet in the area. I have recommended her to family and friends for years and all that I have sent there have never used another Vet since.

I took my dog to Dr. Williams everyday for a year. No other vet in San Antonio could help him with his degenerative mylopathy. The solution is often just to euthanize. However, my dog was happy and had more living to do. Dr. Williams kept him happy and comfortable for the last year of his life and when it was his time to go, helped give him a gentle and comfortable passing. I will always be grateful to her for her kindness.

The staff, Dr Williams ..all GREAT!!!..and truely care about the animal and the animals owner understanding what is going on with dog/cat/animal. Works well with domestic conventional vets as well, putting both heads together to achieve the best outcome for the patient. I love them!!

The first place I will go with my cats. In the past Ive gone to some good vets, but they seem too quick to opt for invasive surgeries, amputations, and euthanasia. She clearly states all possible options, even those that she herself cannot preform (recommends a specialist).
