My family is fairly new to San Antonio. During a cleaning, another dentist broke my oldest daughters permanent retainer and was adamant she no longer needed it. Within a week, the shifting in her teeth was quite visible. We decided to pay VandeBerg Orthodontics a visit to explore our options. Unfortunately, she had to get braces again. As a teacher and mother of four, I could only think about the hassle of scheduling appointments and waiting forever. Boy was I wrong!! This office is incredible. Dr. VandeBerg is very nice and thoroughly explains everything. The staff is inviting and always greets you with a smile. Most importantly, I have never taken a day off from work for an appointment and we have never waited longer than 10 minutes before being called back. My daughters teeth are beautiful again and I have now decided to get braces as well! I highly recommend this office!

The team at San Antonio Orthodontics is beyond excellent. From the first time you step into the practice, you are greeted with a warm smile and honestly feel like you are at home. Dr. Font is so sweet, caring, and so knowledgeable and makes you feel like family more than being another patient. The staff are also equally beautiful inside and out and so knowledgeable. Roxann, Stephany, Erica, Brittni, Veronica, and the entire team, you guys make every visit feel awesome. Thank you! I will definitely miss all of you when I have finished my treatment. Love you all! Would recommend this practice to anyone who wants personal attention, affordable care, and superior service!

Getting braces isnt a fun experience, but it certainly can be made better if treated by the right people. And this place is it. I have had my braces for about a year and a half, and despite not liking the braces at times, I was always happy to arrive to my appointment, and I will actually miss seeing everyone every few weeks when I get my braces off my next visit. The staff are so nice and friendly, and Dr. James VandeBerg is probably the nicest guy you will ever meet. The doctor is well trained and I have never experienced any discomfort when having the braces placed and wires removed. They really want the best for you, the patient, and not just after your money.

My name is JohnPaul Planchet and I am 8 years old. I wanted to tell everyone that Dr. VandeBerg is a great doctor. Six months ago, my teeth were not growing straight. It got to the point where I did not even want to smile. Sometimes kids would pick on me because of my teeth. When I went to Dr. VandeBerg, he was very nice. The office staff are very kind and they treated my teeth well. He suggested that I wear braces. Within a few weeks, my teeth started to straighten out! If I see another boy or girl being picked on for their teeth, I tell them about my story and to go to Dr. VandeBerg. I now smile in all my pictures! Thank you Dr. Vandeberg!

I never thought it was a possibility to get braces until I visited VandeBerg Orthodontics. Between balancing being a young adult and a college student, the financial specialist resolved my financial struggles. We both came up with an easy payment plan and the VandeBerg team immediately put on my braces shortly after. It has been nine months now and the VandeBerg team has made it a complete joy when I attend my appointments. The whole team made it comforting for me and has made my visits enjoyable. Dr. James VandeBergs professionally and knowledge in his practice is truly outstanding. I am bless to be a part of the VandeBerg team as a patient.

Insurance/Finance (Kendra) - wanted to give 2 thumbs up, A+, etc. review to the young lady who handles insurance. Ill save you the gory details but it was the typical, send this, we sent it, need more info, sent more info, denied, follow up, send more info, need more info, this person said this, then this person said something else, and so on and so on. Kendra patiently and professionally handled the situation, continually followed up with the insurance company, provided them the requested information, documented everything, and eventually solved the problem. She knows her business and does her job well. Thank you very much!

Really love coming here!! Well, I love it as much as you can love going to an orthodontist...but it really is a top notch place. They have the best staff who remembers me from time to time and asks for updates on whats happening in my life. They get visibly excited when there is progress on my teeth, and they make me more excited about the process! VandeBerg Orthodontics has tons of cool contests and things too! I won a kayak and a GoPro (with accessories) just for putting together a video about my summer! I would highly recommend them, theyre one of the best!!

Love this place! When my daughter needed braces three years ago, I took her to Vandeberg Othodontics. I was extremely pleased with the entire staff and very impressed with how professional and friendly everyone was. When it came time for my son to get his... braces a year later, I didnt consider going anywhere else. Im thinking about getting braces for myself also and I know where Ill be going! First time visiting this office, and my experience was amazing. The staff is the epitome of five star customer service, they are friendly, informative, helpful and very thoughtful. Gabby is amazing and will asist with any payment questions or financing options. Stephany worked on applying my braces, she not only made me feel comfortable, but made the whole process a breeze. My daughter began her journey in July 2015 and had her braces removed May 2017. Every time we visited the office the staff was very friendly and professional. The office itself is immaculate. The ladies do a great job of cleaning and sanitizing all stations and tools after use. I absolutely love this place. Wait time to be seen is extremely minimal. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for her to be seen. Thank you all for taking great care of my Baby!!

The atmosphere in the office is great!! Once you walk through the door you are greeted at the reception desk with a smile that would cause you to forget you are there for braces. Everyone there is nice and joyful. Its unlike any other medical office Ive been too. They make sure its comfy for everyone and always have something on the tv to keep you calm. I would recommend VandeBerg Orthodontics to anyone and everyone.

Love the place. Excellent staff but the only ONE thing wrong is their hours. They are only open 3 days out of the week. No weekends and latest appt is usually like 3:30 (which is rarely available since everyone tries to get latest appt time). So if you are fine with that then they are great. Really wish hours would change to include at least 2 Saturdays a month or extended hours during the week.
