My husband is a diabetic & the "nutrition" department has yet in the 2 weeks plus has yet to get what he puts on menu! Have gone to supervisor for that department so they come up to take his food order to balance sugar & carbs & he doesnt get it he gets a substitute! Bacon, orange juice,potatoes,whole milk, cereal (which is stated he can NOT have) real sugar & what they call omelet (which precisely stated he did NOT want,hes been given most every breakfast!) Anyone with half a brain knows this is NOT a diabetic diet! When he called them their excuse was they didnt know how to enter his diet!!?? Is this not their job? one poor man was being forced to drink Boost even though hes allergic to milk & it was making him be sick! But the Real Kicker is when u see them bring a substitute meal my dog wouldnt want & U go down to restaurant after they serve lunch & see the staff come out with the best food (Which I know for sure my husband ordered that day) & here them say "Ive got me some real food I put it back for me!" THAT DO NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS OR ARE THEY TRYING TO DO THEM IN?! I tried to be nice & went through the proper channels BUT didnt work! Waiting on call back from patient safety person now! WHAT IT SEEMS LIKE IS THE PEOPLE THAT LOAD THE CARTS & DELIVER MEALS JUST DONT GIVE A FLYING FLIP &THEY LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS CRAP!!! Dont they know this is medical malpractice?? Making a diabetics shoot up over a 100 points is harmful! 1 star rating was for the nurses & Drs who care & did their jobs well!

My last visit I went with a friend cause her mouth was hurting. But I saw such TERRIBLE things. A lady who was brought in by ambulance, they made her go to the waiting room. She was sobbing the whole time terrified and in pain, and the desk people did nothing about it and were so rude to her. She waited longer than we waited and my friend got a room before her and she only had a little mouth pain. She was there before us, she had enough time to go home and come back and still wait. There was like 5 people waiting all together and everyone else got called but her. She accidentally took two medications and had a bad reaction to it. and her arms were stiffening up and couldnt move them. I know this cause After my friend got her room and i was in there with her, the lady finally got her room across from us and i was listening to see what happened to her. Poor thing. She was Brought in by a ambulance, made her sit in the waiting room longer than everyone in the room. It was so terrible to see her go through that. The desk lady was absolutely rude when she had no reason to be, the room was almost empty and she sat on her computer doing nothing and was mean while a lady needed immediate help. We waited about 5 hours just for a prescription for pain meds. I pray to god i dont have to have my baby at this hospital since it is only across the street from me. They would probally watch me give birth in the waiting room cause thats how careless and ghetto this hospital is.

This hospital has very serious problems. Come in to ER lobby 5:30pm midweek. About 12 people there, one of whom has been waiting a couple hours, son having a severe allergic reaction but not being treated. I check in, vitals are read by the receptionist, but then Im sat back in lobby to wait for Dr. Over the next 2 hours, I see two separate women forced to go to the lobby bathroom to get urine samples which they then have to parade in front of the entire lobby (which now has 44 people) to the receptionist, who is also running vital monitors out to the lobby (which by this point looks like an airport terminal at Christmas) to check people. People that were there when I first arrived were still waiting untreated and unseen. At one point early on, someone that I can only assume is a supervisor or administrator came out to address the whole lobby (I guess someone complained?) and essentially blamed all problems and delays on their parking lot construction but assured everyone that it would be so much better when the expansion was done. I guess the kid with the severe allergic response should come back in a few months when they are ready to treat him. They should update their billboards while they are at it. I added 2 stars because all staff were very courteous and trying very hard to keep up despite the tension, however it is clear there is some administration issues hindering their ability to provide care.

I went to the ER on Saturday 26th, because I broke my right leg and they said they couldnt do anything about it because theyre not expert orthopedics. They took my X-rays and told me what was broken, then we left after they put my splint on. I called them the day later, because my mom was headed to pick up my x-rays at the hospital so that we could go to an orthopedic (Yes, I know I should had picked them up when we first left) and they said that due to legal matters they could not disclose that information to her even though I put her down on the list of people who can make life/death decisions for me. The receptionist said they needed me to physcially show up as they would need my signature. When we got there my mom pushed me on the wheelchiar to go pick up the x-rays and she was able to pick them up without me signing ANYTHING! Moreover, when we mentioned that we were headed to go see an orthopedic they said that they could take care of me that same day. So, not only they lied about not being able to do anything when I was at the ER, they also made me go through pain I didnt need to go through, and ultimately made us make an appointment with the orthopedic and have to wait until December 6th for surgery. Very pissed off with their service, never choosing that hospital again. Would not recommend to family or friends.

THIS IS CRAZY! A this very moment there is a HOSTAGE SITUATION reportedly by the local news by a "distraught father". GOOGLE IT IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME. My daughter was born here, and my father in-law went here for an ER visit. NEVER AGAIN will I ever go back. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL. THESE GUYS PRICE GOUGE SO BAD, that my father in-law almost had a heart attack looking at his bill. They charge $26,000 for a stay because he had a false alarm thinking he was experiencing a heart attack. They checked him out and they told me that they did all sorts of tests and results were negative, and said that 1 of the test takes a whole day so he would have to stay for a day. I wouldve pulled him out the same day had I known the bill was going to be that high. Before this, my daughter was born here, but looking back at the bill, I had Aetna insurance at the time. These guys found everything in the book to charge my insurance company the most they could. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I know for a fact that the reason that there is a HOSTAGE situation right now is because of the unethical and immoral practices when it comes to finances and payments. I hate to say this and I hope no one gets hurt but this hospital probably deserved to have a gunman hold them up.
