I am writing this review as I am waiting on the " caring" staff at Emerus to finish examining my daughter. We are here because her finger got ingured with the garage door. Our house is less than 5 mins away from the hospital and this is what made it the obvious choice to seek care there as soon as it happened. What an unpleasant surprise it was to find out that the staff in the emergency room didnt have any urgency to help my crying 6 years old AT ALL!! Did I mention she is 6?!?!?! I signed her in and then had to wait and listen to the 2 office ladies -Haleigh and Kristen -personal problems and comments. When I asked if someone was coming, their faces looked so unhappy that I cut them off and then just gave me a lousy yes. That continued. And when I asked to speak to a manager Haleigh didnt even made eye contact with me , continued wiping her desk and pens and told me there is no manager today. ?!?!? Finally after I started ringing the bell 3 nurses showed up and they were making faces at me and the female one that did not want to provide her name to me, said that she doesnt understand what the problem is since its not an emergency?!?! My child was in pain with a possible broken finger, big blue bruise, no other patients in the lobby and 5 ppl staring at me telling me they dont think its a big deal?!?! Did I mention my daughter is 6!! Everyone - Mark, Jay D, the lady that didnt want to I identify herself but later took X ray of my daughters finger?! I dont even know what or who she is! Very professional Emerus! - everyone had something NOT AT ALL compassionate to say to me. We were finally seen by a dr 30 mins after arrival Dr Fite and although she and the male nurse who helped her were nice, my whole experience was bellow acceptable. I cant wait to see how emergency like my bill will be for not being treated as an emergency. What happen to medical professionals being compassionate and just that, professional? I wont leave this to rest. Someone needs to at least apologize to us and reevaluate the staff at hand at least their customer skills!

Well, I pretty much got told my diarrhea and abdominal pain might be psychological! Thats right! After years of recurrent colitis, including just last month during a 7 day hospital stay, its still in my head, right? I guess the "emotional" stress put the protein & leukocytes/blood in my urine as well. I was told the CT scan was normal, but theres just 1 big problem. I reviewed it when I got home & saw where it noted uterine fibroids likely. Ah, yes; a friend of mine has these. They are very painful, & ironically, she does experience GI symptoms with it, followed by frequent ER visits to eleviate these fare-ups. After all, the urinalysis I left had 3 large blood clots in it, & this wasnt of any concern? I guess that was all psychologically induced too...give me a damn break! I got reminded how I had been in 7 times in 2 months & told I could not have anymore pain relief because we all know the CT scan was 100% normal...not! I have the official copy. The attending physician was right; I have not been getting sufficient care & here is the written evidence. Currently, I am at home with my 2 youngest babies, awake at 0414 due to severe abdominal pain. Ive always given Emerus outstanding ratings until now.

Well, Ive been here many times over the years, either for myself or with my children and have recommended this place many times over. However, at this very moment I sit here with my husband as the patient and it seems that this time literally everyone weve come into contact with the exception of the Doctor and the CNA seem to be pissed off at the world. His nurse is some biker looking guy named Chris, he seemed to be irritated at the fact that my husband and I were speaking to him when he came in to administer meds. The phlebotomist was the exact same way towards us. My husband never goes to the hospital, he is in a tremendous amount of pain, probably more talkative than normal because he is very scared and neevouse and they seem to be pissed off that hes even here, much less talking to them. I must say, Im HIGHLY disappointed in how they are treating him. We chose to come here and pay more because the quality of care has veen exceptional in the past, clearly that has changed since my last encounter because that is NO LONGER the case!!!

My mom first came here after suffering from what appeared to be a mini "TIA". Everything was going well they did an array of tests to make sure her heart was functioning and it was. Everything seemed okay until we stayed a bit longer. Upon arrival you notice the hospital is completely empty (gee I wonder why). Mind you we arrived at 4pm and was told an ambulance was going to transfer my mom to a hospital. 5pm comes, nothing, 6pm comes nothing and 7---nothing. I know an ambulance doesnt take that long lmao and I peeked outside the blinds and saw an ambulanced stationed outside their hospital that had been there since we first arrived. So I go to the front and ask why is it taking so long, one of the staff in the front says "they are almost here, they called, ambulance is on its way" and the nurse next to him says well where are they? The guy stays quiet and picks the phone up to call--WOW I thought you said you KNEW they were arriving lol. And of course we get BILLED an insane amount for staying almost 4 hours. Avoid this hospital.

It was okay, the experiences I have had at the Sugar land location were way better! The front desk lady was okay.. she was a lot nicer when she was charging me at the end of the visit. We were seen promptly, but spent hours in the room. My 5 year old had a bad UTI while I was house sitting for my dad so I wasnt sure where else to take her other than here.. anyways she couldnt pee.. that was part of the issue, but they kept giving us cups to try and collect a sample. My daughter was upset she couldnt go and was worried the doctor would be mad at her, They had us try 3 times before they had a big enough sample to test it. She has had a UTI before and they just used a catheter to collect the sample. it was so much easier and less frustrating. With insurance I had to pay 250 out the door and got another bill later... when my daughter fractured her elbow we went to the sugar land location without insurance and paid 350 out the door and was done with it.

Ive been to 3 doctors in as many weeks with severe back pain. When I woke up this morning....couldnt move. My doctors advice was to lay still for a couple of days and see if it got better. When I told him how sever the pain was, he recommended I go to the ER in Tomball. I walked in very slowly, one of their employees going in waited extra time to hold the door. At registration, I was in tears. After I gave her my insurance card and ID, she told me to sit down and not to worry about paperwork until I felt better. Within 5 minutes, I was in a room. Within 10 I was actually TALKING to, in detail, with a doctor. She listened, really listened to my history and decided that spending extra time and money on X-rays and an MRI didnt make sense. They gave me a shot and some different prescriptions and I was on my way home feeling quite a bit better within an hour. Id never go back to another regular emergency room. They were FABULOUS!!!
