We have used Brookside Animal Hospital since we moved here 11 years ago. Dr. Walters is very upfront about costs and will work with you if you express your concern about budget. His office has always been very friendly to us and our pets. When we were taking our dog (she passed on from natural causes 5 years ago. She was 16 years old), they always loved on her and took excellent care of her. We also used them for boarding our dog and never had any issues with cleanliness or health with our dog under their care. They were crying as hard as I was when I called to tell them she went to the Rainbow Bridge. We now have two cats and we still receive the same quality of care and customer service.

I took my cat there a few months ago because she was throwing up and not really eating much. Dr.Walters gave her lots of shots without even telling me what they were or how much they cost my bill was a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. He also said that all it was is her diet and that I needed to change her food which was not what it was at all I took her to another vet and they told me that she has a bow infection. Dr.Walters is very rude and is a smart alec thinks he knows everything. And he is very conceited always talks about his self and I am not there to hear about him I am there to see what is going on with my cat. I will never go back to brookside animal hospital again!

Weve used this vet for five dogs for well over a decade now, from since the days when the clinic was actually located at Brookside Road. Weve never had any complaints or unhappy results. Our five dogs health has always benefited from the clinics care when they needed a veterinarians attention. Weve had only one cat, but she too got good care from this clinic. When our dogs have reached advanced age and acquired age-related health conditions that were very challenging or impossible to treat, the clinic administered euthanasia that was affordable and compassionate. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the clinic to anyone who has small animal pets as we do.

I have been going to Dr. Walters for a while with my dog Brixton. She seems to love him and she HATES vets! I read some of the other reviews on the page and I have to say that I really like the way Dr. Walters talks to people, he makes it very clear that he is trying to educate for the purpose of prevention. Many of the vets that i have taken my animals to skipped this step, they were always trying to set up the next appointment. I also think that the bit that he does about his superman ring is funny. Maybe a little bit corny but its right up my alley. At least he takes the time to talk to people.

Doctor Walters and his staff are outstanding! Weve always recieved fantastic care with them. Dr Walters combines the knowledge and know-how of a country vet in practice for decades with all of the modern technology and equipment youd expect from a vet these days. Every time Ive taken our pets in to Brookside Ive always come away having learned all kinds of new things. Dr Walters takes the time to make sure you understand whats going on with your pet and to educate you. I wish that more vets did that, but how lucky we are to have Dr Walters and his kind staff in our community!

Took our dog to them today only because our vet was out of the office that was a big mistake. They are not very friendly and the Dr was rude. I will just wait until Dr Rook gets back for a follow up on her. When a customer ask as question that a vet should know and he answers back with "have you heard my superman story" which means he dont know it all. I have not ever seen a vet know so less.That makes you think WOW. Lesson learned

I have used Dr Walters for all 4 of my dogs since I adopted our first one 10 years ago. He has taken very good care of us. All 4 of my dogs are healthy, he is honest with us and if we are on a limited budget I let them know and they go over pricing before they proceed with treatments. Great vet and great staff! My dogs are doing great! :)

I found Dr. Walters at Brookside Animal Hospital about a year ago. Throughout the last year, I have found his knowledge and care for my dogs to be impeccable. He is extremely intelligent and knows what he is doing. Very reasonable and competitive prices are icing on the cake! Thanks for being there for my dogs and my wallet! :)

We brought our couple month old Manx cat in for a regular checkup a few weeks ago. The cat never seemed stressed or bothered by being at this vet. The tech didnt know she was a Manx, but this is understandable for sure. The vet was pleasant and informative, and we left with most of our wallet intact.

Always friendly and willing to help disabled/ elderly with their pets from their vehicle. The Vet may talk a lot, but he loves the animals just as much as the owners.
