Dr. Johnson and her staff are nice and Im sure this place is great for standard domestic pets, i.e. dogs & cats. Unfortunately she is very much out of practice with rabbits despite being listed on House Rabbit Societys list of preferred vets and I would not recommend this practice for your buns, especially if they are rambunctious and not easily holdable. My rabbit is 8 years old and Ive never had a vet who seemed so genuinely uncomfortable handling her to the point that she could only partially diagnose her issue. To be fair, Dr. Johnson did admit during our first visit that she rarely sees rabbits and I did want to give her the opportunity to try and help, but by the second visit I just felt it was not worth continuing to pay for such an important service that wasnt providing accurate or reliable results. Your pets health is much too important to accept anything less than exceptional care with an experienced vet, and I did not feel that this particular practice was able to provide this, at least not for rabbits. I cant speak to her skills with other types of animals, but I would definitely call first to ensure that her comfort level with treating your exotic is up to your standards.

Took my 2 1/2 year old dog and her 4 puppies there for boarding on short notice due to a family emergency. When we picked them up we were horrified. Momma dog had feces stuck on her bottom and a rash around her anus and on her tummy from laying in her own excrement. She had also lost 5 pounds. Scrape on her nose, ear bleeding. Sores on her elbows from laying on hard surface with no blanket. We immediatley took her to our new vet who put her on antibiotics and said her condition was poor. The puppies had also lost weight. They had been crate trained, but the vet staff did not take them out, so they were also covered in feces. We had to pay additional funds to have them bathed. The puppies are still scared to walk on a leash (from being drug by staff) and are not crate trained anymore. Terrible experience. Then Dr. E was mad at us for being upset with him!! We got copies of all our animals records and will not go back to this vet again.

We have been going to Dr E. for years and have never had an issue. 3 weeks ago my dog of 7 years (the best dog in the world) had a terrible accident. She got impaled by a spike jumping over a fence. The spike went into her chest neck area and went down and punctured her lung. It was early in the morning before Dr E. was open. We took her to an Animal emergency and they stapled the hole up and said it would be 2000.00 for surgery. Unfortunately we could not afford that. So we waited for DR E. to open and took her there. When we got her from the Animal Hospital they did not give her any pain meds at all and when they picked her up to put her in our car she screamed terribly. It was horrible. When we got to Dr E. he gave her a tranquilizer before he tried to get her out of the car. He did the surgery and saved her life for 900.00 dollars. I cannot thank him enough for saving out baby. And he is good catholic boy. Thanks Dr E. and staff

My husband and I regret we left our 3 babies there. When we picked them up they where dirty and smelled horrible as if they had been lying in urine for the two days they were there. Our large dog had urine and stool spots on the right side of his body, so we know they were NOT taken outside to relieve themselves because they have NEVER gone in their kennel, and they are two, three and four years old. We usually take them to Petsmart, but due to the short notice (Death in family and we had to go out of town) we had no choice but to leave them at a place we knew nothing about. Our large dog is still in a depression and the two small ones are glad to be back home. They are all sleeping next to each other as I write this and in a few days we hope the nightmare they experienced is a thing of the past to them.

This is a new practice in a previous vet clinic. I am so blessed to have found Dr. Johnson. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. My old cat has a number of problems to manage, and she has taken the time to walk me through the situation and offer different treatment options. His quality of life is considerably better since hes been under her care. Im also excited that she sees other species besides cats and dogs so I can also take my cockatiels and pocket pets to one place finally! I couldnt be happier with this clinic and will recommend her to my family and friends for sure.

The new vet here, Dr Johnson, is excellent. Very kind and gentle with my pet and very knowledgeable. She agreed to my request for a more conservative approach for an injury, with a backup plan if the problem did not heal as quickly as hoped. I have complete confidence in her judgement, care and knowledge, and appreciate the kindness with which she and her assistant, Hana, handled my cat. This is in stark contrast to the care received a couple of days ago at an Allen vet. Rates here are very competitive so it is great care at a reasonable cost.

I just had a fantastic experience here. Very friendly staff and a caring and knowledgeable vet. I work difficult hours to make appointments but I called here and they made me an appointment in my limited time window for the same day. My cat was nervous and stressed and Dr. Johnson was very kind and gave me many options and ways to help him feel better. All for a very competitive price too I may add. I know the next time I go back that my cats are in good hands. Thank you so much Dr. Johnson and your wonderful staff for such a pleasant visit.

Easily one of the best veterinarians I have ever been to. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating and you can tell they really care about their job. Then, Dr. Johnson takes the time to get to know your animal and make them feel comfortable, all the while answering all of your questions and making sure you completely understand what is going on. I will be taking all of my animals to her from here on out and cant recommend her highly enough.

I walked in one morning with my dog having some sort of seizure like symptoms. Although we have never been to the hospital they took her immediately. They gave her medicine after testing and finally got her to eat, and worked with me on what to do if she has another one. Even though it was closing time they did not rush their Care on my baby.

A+!!! Feeling so grateful to have been given the referral of Dr. Johnson at Cedar Creek Animal Hospital! That woman is patient, kind and really knows her stuff. Truly comforting knowing that we’ve got Dr. J and her team on hand, whenever our bird or dog is in need of care!
