I scheduled an appointment with Watters for my dog Kane who had cracked, sore paws. After examining him she determined he had a yeast infection in his paws and ears. She had sent us home with medication for him and packed his ears (a term used when applying medicine that remains in the ears for the next two weeks or so). $600 later (the most expensive visit Ive ever had) we had our meds and the vet had told us she wanted to see Kane back in 2weeks to make sure he was improving she also said that there was no charge for this follow up. After the 2weeks nobody had called or set up his follow up appointment so I decided to call them. I called two different times and asked about the follow up and to verify that there was no extra charge for the follow up, I was told Id be called back and never was. Finally I got ahold of someone who then told me that there would be a charge for his follow up. After asking them to make sure they speak to the vet as she said herself that she wouldnt charge for his follow up they again said that we would be charged. We will never go back to Watters. After spending so much money, the vet not even really seeming to care about Kane nor keeping her word, and trying to charge us for a quick follow up we took our dogs elsewhere. We are now at Banfield Pet Hospital who have been amazing and genuinely care about our dogs. In fact one of our dogs had a tooth chip and split and she took it out for free!

Listen guys, there are lots of Vets out there and some are good and have your animals best interest in mind and others are about making money. This is a business I understand, but we have to trust those who provide their service to our animals. Dr. Pupp is not a good Vet. While waiting for my appointment well after the appointment time, she was busy working on her own animal. She prescribed a very expensive medication for my animal that later after asking around wasnt necessary and there were better meds that were cheaper. She had a disconnected attitude with me and I had to correct them on the proper billing at the end of the visit. I got the feeling that she didnt want to be there and would rather be doing something else. Ok, cool, there are plenty of Vets around my area. Dr. Pupp what can you do to earn my business? Earn our trust? And look at us as customers that will return and not people you can try to squeeze even penny out of one visit??

We took our rescue puppy here to get spayed and have had issues with her healing process nonstop. One of her stitches started to come out and discharge was leaking through the surgery site, so we took her in to have it looked at and stitched back up. They put suture glue on it instead of a staple or stitch. Of course that came off easily that night and we had to take her back in again. The second time, they stapled her up to keep it closed. We just had the staples removed about a week ago, and it looked like it healed okay from what I could see. After watching it, now theres a red puss pocket on the site where the surgery was done. We will not be going back here! I have always had my dogs spayed, and have never had such an issue with this surgery. They are not taking care of her properly. This is the vet office the rescue shelter that we got her from, required us to use. We will be going to our regular vet, Dr. Grey in lewisville from now on.

Our 19 month old Chocolate Lab ingested sugar free gum, we called Dr. Pupps office. Their knowledge and expertise helped us avoid a tragedy. We were instructed to call the Pet Poison hotline. The hotline told us to go to vet immediately as the sweetener in this particular gum is extremely toxic. Dr. Pupp and her staff took our Lab right to the back as we walked in and just as the symptoms of hypoglycemia started to appear. She was given first rate care and after a tumultuous 48 hours we have our puppy home. The care of our dog and the level of expertise and professionalism was phenomenal. The needs of our dog were first, but there was also great effort taken to keep the costs manageable. We are forever indebted to Dr. Pupp and her staff. I highly recommend you using Watters Animal Hospital for all your veterinarian needs.

I love Watters Animal Hospital and would never even consider taking by fur babies anywhere else. Dr Pupp is so passionate and dedicated to all of her patients...and it shows. She explains and educates her pet parents as well on best practices, care, etc. My boxer can be very "skiddish" around people outside of the family but loves her and her staff. It makes me so happy knowing that they are comfortable and happy going to the vet as well!

As the owner of a large dog boarding and daycare facility in McKinney we have had the opportunity to work with many vets but Dr. Pupp is the best of the best. Dr Pupp is dedicated, compassionate, detailed and wonderful with the dogs. We recommend all of our clients that need a vet to Dr. Pupp. Dr. Pupp is also our personal vet and our dogs love her. The staff is great to work with. I recommend Watters Animal Hospital to everyone.

I have had the experience to be the first official patient(my dog anyway) of Watters Animal Hospital and referred everyone we know that has animals as pets to this practice. Dr. Pupp has always been straight to the point and provided options for medication as well as follow-up visits. My dogs have always received the best care and I would recommend this practice to anyone. Too bad we moved out of state.
