I recently found out I have arthritis in both my knees and have very little cartilage left between the bones, I have been over weight for the past ten years and had been on a journey to get healthy after losing my husband 4 yrs ago to a heart disease. I was walking 3-4 miles a day and shedding quite a bit of weight (45 lbs) up to that point when I was told my walking was done and I would have to start swimming and " get the weight off" I had no hope of walking normal again. This was qite devastating for me because I loved being outside and walking. After a few weeks of being depressed I decided to get a second opinion at TOSH, thats where I met Dr.Dunn and this assistant who looked at my x rays and assured me that yes the cartilage was gone but their was things we could try and not to give up hope for a normal life again. After starting me on a regular exercise routine to strengthen the other muscles in my leg and giving me a cortisone shot in my left leg, I have managed to lose another 25 lbs and do not walk with a limp anymore. I have switched to the gym ( equipment that does not cause so much stress on my knee) but when I want to get out and take a walk or go on a small hike, I am more than able to do this thanks to Dr Dunn and his amazing staff. Whatever your story, sports injury, weight loss injury, or hereditary problems, please never give up hope, always get a second opinion and I highly recommend you go to Tosh and see one of their highly qualified doctors, Dr Dunn is my first choice but I know the whole staff comes highly recommended. Thanks Tosh for giving me hope and my life back. Sincerely Brenda Vincent

WELL, first visit was like a first date, everything you want to hear, they care, blah, blah. Trying to get in for an MRI was a joke, had to cancel one due to the flu, finally had another scheduled, along with Dr. Zaman, and get this, I saw Rachel Decker two weeks before Christmas, first physical therapy appointment was cancelled by them, the 2nd they tried to move, and they were scheduled out THREE WEEKS! Was scheduled for this Friday, finally. SO, today I get a call from Ms. Decker asking why I hadnt had my MRI or f-up with the doctor, tried to tell her my appt. was for Thursday, I was waiting right then for my MRI. SHE CALLED ME A LIAR! Honest to God, a PROFESSIONAL calls a patient a liar? Per my lawyers suggestion I must say "allegedly" she gets kickbacks from sending me to these other 3 places, so she was concerned about lining her pockets with my insurance companys money. I have excellent insurance and some doctors just milk it for all its worth, disgusting! Stay away from TOSH, they ALLEDGEDLY have their hands in each others pockets and dont give a crap about patients and their health. This will go to DOPL, my insurance company, and my lawyer. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. There are many wonderful doctors out there, dont waste your time nor your integrity.

Beware! If you have a family member staying in this hospital post op, I highly recommend a designated family advocate that takes a lot of notes & pays attention. My family member has been here twice & I would never feel comfortable leaving them there alone. There is a huge gap in communication from pre op to post op. Medication, bring back your original ice machine because insurance wont pay for another, prescribed one pain medication, but they tried to dose a different medication (one that was knowingly not tolerated by my family member) They ran out of vomit bags. My family member was forced to vomit in a recycling bin that had been sitting in the floor. It is "illegal" for them to schedule pain medication. Your loved one, out of surgery is expected to remember to ask for pain medication every 4 hours. My family member forgot to ask once & got so behind on pain, they had to use a large dose of "rescue" pain medication that left them so sick, they dehydrated. The list goes on & on. I work in the medical field & have helped loved ones during hospital stays before & ive never witnessed an experience like the one at Tosh.

Love, Love,Love Tosh. My hubby had post back therapy at Tosh, he liked it. He is not really a lover of any type of business. Son had knee tendinitis therapy at Tosh. They had him fixed up good as new in a short time frame. Daughter had knee surgery and Therapy, she loved it. I had Shoulder surgery about 1 month ago. Orthopedic Dr took about 2 1/2 weeks to see, not bad. Surgery was scheduled for the following week. Surgeon knowledgeable, kind and did his job well. Receptionist have ALL been great. Nurses were Fab. Better yet I LOVE my PT, my therapist is awesome and the crew in the PT room have been great. People have to remember that everyone can have a bad day, yes, even Dr., nurses, receptionist. Most of the time it is our own tone, words and actions that bring on stressed behavior from others. I would recommend Tosh to everyone! Be careful with reviews, I clicked on some of the names that gave them a 1 star and one person from 3 weeks ago showed up with 13 business complaints giving almost all of them a 1 star. Seems like (D) just probably likes to complain and is hard to please.

While waiting for my husband to have his knee done, my husband was having a hard time getting a urine sample. Gaylin and Cami we giving a constant eye roll and whispering right in front of our room to other staff members. I understand that they have a timed schedule to stay on but to blatantly do it right in front of our room is just plane rude and I felt extremely uncomfortable. Whether my husband was an ideal patient or not myself and father in law could tell he wasnt liked. I felt like he was treated like another knee that needed repair and not as a person. Yvonne, Dr. Wests PA violated HIPAA by reading his medical report in front of other patients and also cussing at him. A week later at his follow up appointment, we waiting an hour before we saw Dr. West. He came in and did not even acknowledge the fact that this happened with his staff, all that was said by him was that they were just "doing their job". If you want to run a practice by disrespecting and humiliate patients then more power to you. Needless to say, we will never be going back there again.

This was the absolute worst place I have ever tried to get help from. Everyone of the women that answer the phone are rude and put out. On my forms of the PA"s instructions, they put they gave me a prescription, no the did not! In so much pain I could not stand it!!! I asked several times what the "Dr" said and they told me it wasnt a "DR" but a PA? I was not told that at the time I was there in pain and getting no where! I called again after trying to get my own medication and they said they would fill the prescription, they left and did not do it. I called and the rude receptionist said too bad, youll have to call back on MONDAY??? Im in so much pain, but who cares...not TOSH. They are the worst place to try and get any treatment.
