I bought a pair of dogs and one had her records here. It was a pain in the neck just trying to get her records but that wasnt even the beginning. Ive had the dog just over a week and have been relentlessly trying to figure out if she were spayed. The previous owner said no, but these guys here fought us tooth and nail and said yes. All any other vet could say was, "She doesnt have a scar, but if they say yes then she is." We talked to the vet who "personally did her spay and she would be the first one in 21 years who didnt work". We were given more hoops to jump through and then were told if she had ovaries, shed be done for free. Within minutes of hanging up, they called back and said she was NOT in fact spayed and that we need to have her done. How quickly they changed their minds... We couldve had her spayed before she started bleeding all over our house had they had it together. Totally ridiculous and this place is a disorganized joke. I highly DO NOT recommend this place!!!

I took my 3 year old Bulldog in for a dose of ear infection ointment. My dog can be agressive so I agreed to use a muzzle while injecting into his ear. But instead of bringing out a muzze that would fit him she brought in a muzzle for a small dog and insisted it would work fine. Keep in mind, my dog is a bulldog with a flat face as it is. And a very big head. After i stated my concerns she continued to put it on him and sat on top of him makinf him completely immobile. My dogs was tounge stuck out and turned purple, foam came out and i could tell he couldnt breath. I immediately took it off him and this vet yelled at me for it. Meanwhile my dog excretreted feces everywhere out of fear. I immediately left this vet and I will never return. Their lack of care for the animal is beyond anything ive ever seen. YES THEY ARE CHEAP BUT NOT WORTH IT I PROMISE YOU.

Dr. Gina Hanfland at Redwood Veterinary Hospital has kept my four cats healthy and vibrant for the past 12 years. She is an excellent veterinarian with great skill and dedication. She attends classes and workshops annually across the country to stay current with the best veterinary practices. She is kind and compassionate in her care, most importantly when it was painfully necessary to help my two oldest cats at the end of their lives. She also employs exceptional staff with the knowledge and skills to perform all services, including putting nervous pet owners at easy. Dr. Hanfland has helped us through stomach cancer, teeth extraction and dental care, irritable bowl syndrome, vaccinations, and wellness checkups. I am confident she and her staff provide the same expertise, knowledge and care to all animals, and would highly recommend her to anyone.

We first met Dr. Gina when our elderly dog had a medical crisis several month ago. Our experience was nothing short of fantastic. She was upfront about all our options and the costs involved with each one, and helped us decide whether or not to put our dog through the surgery. We decided to go ahead and it actually cost us slightly less than we were quoted. They took great care of her and she recovered quite well. When we have had questions or concerns come up, Dr. Gina is always quick to respond and has always been very helpful. We recently adopted 2 kittens and they gave us the first check up for free (we adopted from the Humane Society). We will continue to drive out of our way to have Dr. Gina and her staff provide our animals care. They are all very caring and go out of their way to make sure we always have a great experience.

Very expensive and disappointing. Their half price offer ended up more than 2 other vets regular price. My dog had teeth pulled and other surgery. They knew I was going out of town. When I took her in after 10 days the doc wouldnt even look at her stitches or in her mouth. I did have to take her to an out of town vet because 2 of the absorbable stitches were hanging out of the wound and would not heal. The out of town vet said I would find another vet if I were you

What absolutely horrible people. My hamster severely injured himself on his cage, but I had to rush to work. I had my brother drop him off and they demanded payment from him before they even treated him, and said he wasnt allowed to drop my animal off for me. They also made him fill out the form twice because his handwriting was too "sloppy" for them. They sent him away without even considering my hamsters health or anything. Terrible, terrible people.

I really wouldnt recommend that you bring your animals to here they misdiagnosed my dog and said he had a tumor and said I should put him too sleep, So I took my dog and got a second opinion and what was really wrong is he swallowed something he shouldnt be eating. I almost put my dog to sleep for a false misdiagnosis. I would highly recommend that you take your animals somewhere else..

Gina is really nice and very intelligent. The only reason we stopped going to her is because we moved too far away. I still have called their office to ask questions and they are very nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone and I have many times. She treats guinea pigs and it is hard to find a good guinea pig vet that doesnt charge exotic pet prices.

Took my dog there for the first time today. Saw Dr. Smith. She took very good care of my 14 year old border collie mix. They did not over sell services and actually recommended less treatment than I would have guessed. I will continue to use them because I think they have a practical approach and are fairly priced.

way over priced, my dog was in pain & cus i only paid them $100 cash they would not send my dog home with pain meds cus i had still owed $133, $233 for an x-ray is a bit high, so i paid $100, no pain meds but theyre stupid enough to send me with a copy of xrays

Dr. Gina and her staff are incredible, and instantly put my pup at ease. Hes a less-restraint dog, and they were able to be safe themselves and help him not freak out because he was being held. Dr. Gina is the best vet around!!
