In the past Ive seen been to a range of optometrists including high end boutique optometrists with all the fancy toys and those that arent considered "high end". Im the type of person who wants the best price for the best service but Im not opposed to pay more to get someone whos truly an expert. With that, I could have paid more for the services performed at Ungricht Parker Eye Associates and been just fine. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Thomas E. Gayer, OD. He took the time to listen to my concerns and history as well as what I want for the future. He provided me with great advice and recommendations that I felt were truly in my best interest. If you need a second option or are looking for a new optometries, Id defiantly recommend Dr. Thomas E. Gayer.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Parker at Ungricht Parker Eye Associates for years now, and what keeps us going back is the care we get and the friendliness of every employee there . Dr. Parker is so thorough with his exams, making sure that nothing is over looked and that any eye problems we have had are taken care of. They also make sure that we are up to date on all of our eye exams, and making sure we have the correct contacts/eye wear. The front desk staff is so friendly I feel like they know me and my family so well, and when I come in without my kids, they ask all about them. Every time I go there it is a pleasant experience, but also one that I know that I am being well taken care of. I highly recommend using Dr. Parker!

This office is INCREDIBLE. I will never go to another eye doctor. I had an eye emergency several weeks ago, and dr Parker was consulted by the ER in the middle of the night. He got me into his office several hours later. He was extremely considerate of my pregnancy, and checked with my OBGYN before placing me on each medication. He then had me do daily check ups to check the progress. He even came in the see myself and several other patients on that Saturday afternoon. He called me Sunday to check in. I have NEVER had a doctor care so much about making sure my infection cleared. You could tell by how much time and effort he put into my healthcare that he truly cared about getting me better.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Craig VanLeeuwens at Ungricht Parker Eye, for nearly 15 years. In that time Ive experienced several unique challenges with my eyes, and Dr. VanLeeuwen and his partners have been responsive, accommodating, and most importantly, professional and excellent in their diagnosis and treatment. Because of Dr. VanLeeuwens expertise and skill, Ive referred many friends and family to his practice. His attention to detail, bedside manner, and thorough approach to my health has been a refreshing departure from many other healthcare experiences Ive had in my life. WARNING: If youre going in for a prescription for contacts, you will have to pay a "contact fitting fee" before youll receive the prescription. This fee for me was $69. Find a different eye doctor that bills the fitting fee as part of the eye exam-- then your insurance will cover it. Im movin on to another doc! My total time was 2 hours-- and all I needed was a prescription for glasses and contacts. Half the time was spent "fitting" different contacts on my eyes. I sensed that the staff was throwing a bit of a sales pitch on their line of contacts. No thanks, I said; Ill order em online.

I love Ungricht Parker Eye Associates. My husband and 3 daughters all go to Dr. Parker for contacts and glasses and we are very pleased with the care he gives each time we visit. He is very patient with all my kids. He is always very helpful in trying to figure out the best price we can get for contacts and the best way we can utilize our insurance benefit. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and always makes us feel welcome.
