1st appt was seen 30 min. late. NP was NOT thorough -- rushed me through and scheduled for another appt to complete procedure. When time came for 2nd appt., the office confirmed the day before. However, 45 minutes prior to appt the next day THEY CANCELED! I had already taken the day off work and lost $$$ (no work = no pay). When I went in the office was a ghost town (it was a Friday). I believe the NP just wanted to take that Friday off. They rescheduled for a 3rd appt., and after waiting 30 minutes (while the NP/PA talked with a drug sales rep!), I finally got fed up and left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT OFFICE! Wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I made the appt. -- I would have begun with a totally different practice. I dont care how wonderful Dr. Gross might be, he needs to get his office under control! Very disrespectful of others time.

Had a different, positive experience than other reviewers. This was my third time to this derm. office and I was able to book an appointment only a week in advance. Much better than the months ahead booking Ive experienced with others. I was called to the exam room 20-25 min after my appointment time. Once in the exam room, the nurse saw me immediately and the doctor saw me a few minutes later. Again, my experience with other offices involved waiting in the exam room for another 20+ minutes. I only had a short, basic interaction with the front desk staff so I cant say if they were helpful or not if I would have had a complicated issue.

Worst practice I have ever been. Especially the administration, the ladies who are working at the office are rude and disrespectful. Maybe gross does not know whats happening in his clinic but it is bad and theyre not happy with their jobs. Took a month to get an appointment. Took weeks to get new prescription to be signed by the doctor and the receptionist said "you get your medication when the doctor signs your medication whenever it is". She just talked and alked and didnt listen to what I said. I do not recommend this practice.

Well I think the care I received was fine, it is getting to that point that worries me. My appointment was for 10:40. I always go in early to fill out paperwork for a first visit. I was not seen until 12:20 ..I feel it is unacceptable. I finally got back to a room at 11:45 and still sat in the room 35 min. I had another appointment at 12:30 and one would expect lots of time to make it to the next one. No one even said, "Sorry for your wait". That makes me believe it is an everyday occurrence and they are just fine with that..

My experience was very pleasant. Having to see a doctor for skin care and unsightly cyst can be very uncomfortable to say the least. I was met with kindness and enthusiasm towards healing something that really effected my self-esteem. Today was my follow up to see how the treatment was working. I left feeling better than I have in years about my skin. Words can not describe how thankful I am. If you want people who care about you and not about just filling up appointment slots, then look no further.

I have had the unique experience of interacting with Dr. Gross as both a patient and later a PA student. He is awesome, he really takes good care of his patients and staff. He honestly wants whats best for his patients and often puts the needs of others ahead of his own. He works long hours, and rarely takes lunches in an effort to allow his patients to be able to see him without waiting for months to schedule an appointment. I wouldnt hesitate to refer him to my family and friends.

This is in regards to the mid-atlantic chesapeake dermatologist office, so I cannot speak for the Virginia Beach office. It seems that you cant get any consistency from this office, and it seems very sporatic. Everyone is out of office on the days when you need to see them. I didnt have a good time when I went there unfortunately... Had an extremely hard time talking to the receptionist that handles the appointments. I probably will not be coming back to this location.

The wait at this office is just awful. The office lobby was so jam-packed there were not enough chairs to accommodate everyone waiting. People were rescheduling and I came close to doing the same. The front desk said they were running an hour and a half behind and didnt make any apologies to anyone. This happened at the two appointments I went to. The doctor seemed to be in a hurry and not too friendly. I wont be returning.

Dr. Gross took especially good care of me and spent the time I needed with him. I didnt feel rushed but felt like I was important as a patient. I loved the staff as well and I could tell they love there job. They took exceptional good care of me and that comes from the top dog. Thank you Dr. Michael Gross and company.

You wait in the waiting room for at least 45mins then get called back and still wait another 20mins. It happens every time I go in here. So I will be looking for a new dermatologist, after I walked out without being seen. I understand waiting about 15-20mins but over an hour is just ridiculous.

Janel is wonderful and takes the time to listen to your concerns. She explains what the problem is and gives you what you need to correct the problem. Absolutely love the Chesapeake office, keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!

I went in for age spots Just found out my 250.00 presc. Ive been ising for 3 weeks is for dermatitis. Really? Not impressed with Janelle. Going somewhere else. We waited for 1 hour before seen.

Ive been to Dr. Gross before about 7 years ago and he was great! Today I was on hold with Gail for over 12 minutes. She forgot! Go figure.
