I have taken my sweet dog there since we got him. In the beginning they were very helpful and friendly and I liked the vet there. My dog was boarded there a few times over the years and I was happy with their service. So this summer we were leaving town for a week. I took him in for a checkup and reserved room for him. His old vet was no longer working there I was told. Anyway, I dropped him off before we left and asked that they give him a bath before I pick him up and they said, "sure". One week later I went to pick him up. They confirmed that they did indeed give him a bath. I guess I was so excited to see him that I didnt really check him out. I got home and he was filthy. His eyes were all crusty (he does have allergies but I gave them his medicine and none was missing), and he still had residue in his fur from his exam before we dropped him off. My son and I decided to give him a bath and I noticed while bathing him that he had sores on his lips. I immediately got online and found that it could be a multitude of things, including a dirty dog dish. I was so worried he was ill, but it had already started clearing up by the time I got home from work 5 hours later. That seems pretty obvious to me that he was given a dirty dish. Another thing about him... his little voice was so hoarse he could hardly bark for days and he was clearly showing signs of neglect. So, did they leave him in a cage all day long and ignore him? Or did he get sick while he was there I dont know. I also noticed immediately upon arriving home, he was drinking water like crazy. He doesnt usually drink very much so it was very strange for him. I changed out his water dish for a clean one right away and he drank up so greedily. Then when I put him in his room so I could go to work he was drinking more water again! I paid over $340 for boarding at a place that clearly neglected my dog and I was charged for services they didnt even perform. This place certainly didnt care about my sweet little dog. I will NEVER take him back there! Dont entrust these people with any animal you care about!

Not very helpful at all!!! I have a prescription for a special diet for my cat from my vet who is 30+ minutes away ... its snowing outside, I called this vet who is 4 miles away ... can I get my food from them with the script so I dont have to drive all the way to my vet? No!!! They wouldnt sell it to me cuz they had not seen my cat, even if my vet called them, faxed them the script, they would not sell me simple low protein diet food. Pretty sad since I can even order it on line without a script!! I told my vet about it and they were very shocked!!! They do NOT have excellent customer service and my pets health is NOT their top priority which are their two claims to fame.

We have been going here for a year and we love these guys. Every dog I have ever had HATES the vet. My dogs now LOVE this vet. The techs love and smooch on them while we are waiting, and in the exam room, distracting them with treats while they get shots etc. The vets are gentle and knowledgeable, explaining everything they do and why. They also give you a cost estimate before they do anything so there are no surprises at the counter. The only downside is you dont get in and out fast because of all the loving and explaining, but to see my dogs get all perky and wiggly at the sight of the vet makes it all worth it.

Ive brought both my cats to Healthy Paws over the last 8 years, they have consistently received excellent care from the staff. The customer service is always very positive. I especially appreciated the options and pricing the doctor gave me during the diagnosis and treatment of my 12 year old cat suffering from kidney stones and neurological issues.
