Dr. Armstrong is wonderful, but the front office staff is entirely inept. I found out on 4/2 that I am pregnant. I have already lost 1 tube to an ectopic pregnancy. So I immediately called the office to make an appointment and left a voicemail on 4/2. On 4/3 I called all morning with no success, only to reach the voicemail every time. Today, 4/5, (I am now approximately 5 weeks pregnany) and explained that I am pregnant and need to see the doctor to ensure I do not have another ectopic pregnancy. I asked if they do in-office vaginal ultrasounds. To begin with the girl ignored my question altogether. The girl on the phone said they make appointments to check the babys heartbeat between 7-10 weeks. I said ok, but last time I lost my baby and my tube exploded at 9 weeks so that she could plainly understand my dilemma. She then proceeded to repeat, 3 times, that I could come in at 6 weeks but no heartbeat may be heard. I explained again that I cared more to know that my baby was NOT inside my one remaining Fallopian tube. It is April 6th, I am about 5 weeks pregnant, and she said she could put me in on May 15th but that my babys heartbeat may not be heard. THAT IS OVER A MONTH AWAY. Dr. Armstrong is wonderful but I cannot deal with the front office. I do not intend to call back or schedule any other appointments. So if you want a great doctor and are willing to constantly battle with the front office then give them a call, otherwise, I dont recommend this place.

Patricia Bannon was amazing! Even my significant other who was with me during the appointment loved her. This is my first pregnancy, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience considering I didnt have a very good encounter with a different office. Dr. Bannon is located temporarily off Boone Blvd right now because of renovations (I believe). Although there was a bit of a wait, I can understand why. Dr. Bannon took her time with me and was really thorough at reviewing my previous medical record from my prior office. She explained a lot of my concerns to me, and it definitely felt like she cares about her patients. The waiting area wasnt like clockwork where it was a ton of pregnant people coming in and out, but it was very quiet and I was the only pregnant one there. After my appointment, she took the time to try to call the hospital to get me in at the antenatal testing center even though she had two other patients waiting for her. You could just tell she was so genuine, and Im so glad I switched doctors. I definitely recommend her if you are pregnant and looking for an OB or even just a GYN. Good luck to you because I know she is not always accepting new patients.

Dr Bannon is excellent--her supporting staff is unprofessional, incompetent, and frankly, rude. 6 weeks ago, I called to cancel my annual OB appointment due to a dramatic change in my work schedule--due to both our schedules the next appointment would not be for two months. The front desk assured me that I would receive a 2 month extension on my prescription. One week later, I show up at my pharmacist fully expecting to fill my birth control. They had no record of any calls from Dr. Bannons office. The pharmacist took pity on me and gave me a months supply to tide me over until I could contact my doctor. It took me a week to get a human being on the phone. Then I was informed that there was NO way I could have got a two month extension--they are only authorized to give one month--I asked why was I told this was ok by BOTH the appointment scheduler and the pharmacy contact--I was clearly mistaken. This was not the first incident of this kind. And they were so RUDE about it!

Dr. Bannon is the best doctor you can ask for. After 2 miscarriages I was looking for a doctor who is not only excellent in his/ her job but also is very informative and share all the information about your case with you. Dr. Bannon truely fits in there. From the first day of my pregnancy till the last of delivery she has been like a good friend, good guide and very caring. Her positive energy and positive attitude has always made my husband and me on our toes and we loved to see her on our regular visits/ check ups. Her work ethics, behavior, professionalism and way of communication are excellent. I have recommended her to all my expected cousins. I would say she is the best gynecologist. I am definitely going only to get for my second baby.

This practice is SO great! I switched from a much larger OBGYN office at the beginning of my third trimester. The other office didnt have very respectable doctors and I didnt really feel like my voice was being heard. I have met all the doctors at this practice and trust all of their opinions. They all take the proper amount of time in each appointment, and I always feel like they are on my side. Since it is a smaller practice, they know all of their patients personally, and I can tell that they genuinely care about me and my situation. I am so happy I switched offices, and will most definitely continue going to Womens Health Corp while we are in the area.

Trouble communicating. In pre appointment evaluation to select a physician, I tried to get basic information by asking about a specific procedure, namely whether Dr. Bannon performs the procedure. Nurse Diane refused to confirm an answer to this simple question. Nurses at other practices answered the question without hesitation. By contrast, Diane repeatedly provided the same inane reply, that a general question about what procedures the physician performs, is somehow dependent on the condition of a specific patient. I persisted and Diane hung up on me.

I agree with everyone. Dr. Bannon and Armstrong are fabulous doctors who I trust explicitly and they performed 3 c-sections for my 3 kids. (FWIW, I dont love Dr. Hennessey). BUT, as everyone has said, the front office staff has been terrible for the entire 10 years Ive been going there, and getting an appointment with either of them is a nightmare. Ive since switched to Kathy Wolf and couldnt be happier.

It was awful experience! I was waiting my appointment for one month and after arriving on time they just told Doctor was busy to see me. She can do it 2 weeks later. Is it seriouse medical office? I got 5 notification to confirm my appointment. Why couldnt they even call me to notify? I feel really upset. Dont go there, you will waste you time and will be treated badly.

I give only 2 stars due to the long wait n the way the front desk staff treat patients. Otherwise Dr. Bannon is definitely the doctor Id recommend. Her manners was excellent n was very gentle durian the exam. Being familiar with ethics in healthcare Id say overall Dr. Bannon is exceptional.

I cant even tell you how long it has taken me to find an OB like Dr.Bannon. She is just so warm and caring. She cares and shows it. No, the front desk isnt perfect, but after meeting with Dr.Bannon, who cares?

Great doctor. Knowledgeable, caring. Listens to the patient. One of my all time favorite doctors. And for good reason.
