In May 2013, I developed adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) to my right shoulder and decided to seek therapy through chiropractic means. Adhesive capsulitis to my right shoulder was a result from suffering from a left frozen shoulder in May of 2012. I sought treatment through an orthopedic & sport medicine for my left frozen shoulder, and received corticosteroid injection into the inflamed area and three and a half months of painful human and mechanical physical therapy. After my ordeal was over, the doctor stated, Dont be surprise if you develop adhesive capsulitis to your other shoulder because it is a common occurrence." So, when I did develop adhesive capsulitis to my right shoulder the following year, I was not the least surprise. I research to see if there were other method besides orthopedic & sport medicine to deal with my frozen shoulder, which lead me to the chiropractic care of Dr. Fitzer. I received intense chiropractic therapy & care, albeit painful during the first three-four weeks, it was worth it! I was also pleased that I did not have to have a corticosteroid shot because I am a person who does not like to have unnecessary medicine if I dont have to. During my chiropractic therapy I did every exercise Dr. Fitzer ask me to do when I was at home, which contribute to the healing process. I am very grateful to Dr. Fitzer. By-the-way, one year later and I am still doing the exercise that Dr. Fitzer showed me, which prevent re-occurring problems to both of my shoulders. A little note: Dont wait to long to seek treatment, the longer you wait, the longer it will take to treat the problem. I waited until I could not move my arms at all, big mistake. I went to Dr. Fitzer after having suffered from severe neck pain and stiffness for over a week. I had gone to the doctor but all they did was give me a muscle relaxer and some strong pain meds, but even those didnt help me much; they just made me very drowsy. I couldnt stand the pain any longer, so I sought out a chiropractor. I found Fitzer Chiropractic online, and chose to go there because they offered same-day appointments without doctor referrals, and the reviews for the most part were pretty good. Im glad I went, because after my first visit he had helped relieve my shoulder pain caused by my extremely stiff neck. The next day he saw me and did a few procedures, and the day after I felt significantly better. After only a few more visits I was pretty much back to normal and pain free! I dont know what I would have done without his help. He is very friendly and he doesnt waste any time. None of my appointments were very long, and Dr. Fitzer did very few treatments, but he seemed to know what he was doing. His passion is mainly not just fixing obvious problems, but general chiropractic wellness, or continued maintenance and care for the health of the body. I would recommend him to anyone. As for my experience with payment; he was very helpful with giving me a reasonable price for each visit, and contacted my insurance company personally to see what they did and did not cover, without my asking him. He truly does care about his patients. :)

I have been under the care of Dr. Fitzer for nearly a year now and have truly benefited from his treatments. What I appreciate most is the professionalism (with a personalized approach) he applies in understanding my particular circumstances and concerns. He works carefully and efficiently, while listening attentively to my issues. Unlike some doctors, he doesnt apply "a one size fits all" tactic. Rather, hes very attentive and applies a STRATEGY with an ultimate goal of long-term benefits. I also appreciate his keen interest in staying abreast of new techniques for chiropractic care.
