I recently spent 43 days as a patient at Raleigh Court Rehab Center after a fairly short time spent in the hospital. This Rehab Center was not my first choice because I knew nothing about it, but after being accepted there and experiencing it first hand, I quickly changed my mind. Raleigh Court WOULD now be my first choice if I ever find myself in need of a rehab facility in this area again! Several factors contributed to this: the food was acceptable, the facility was clean and comfortable and the grounds were well taken care of, many different kinds of activities were provided for patients (among them were cards, puzzles, bingo, July 4th cookout, church services, even a petting “zoo” was brought to the grounds for patients to visit!), transportation was arranged by the office staff through RADAR for off-premises doctors’ appointments, and dietary consultation provided, if needed. All of these were important aspects in rating Raleigh Court; however, the most important factor to me was the people with whom I interacted on a daily basis – those who took care of my needs, whether they were therapists, nurses, CNA’s, maintenance people, housekeeping, or office personnel, I found most of them to be very professional, pleasant, personable, caring, cheerful and most of all, VERY helpful! When I first arrived, I was not able to do very much for myself and depended almost entirely on others for assistance. During those days, the CNA’s and nurses took care of my every need, with smiling faces and cheerful attitudes, NEVER making me feel like a burden to them! I couldn’t have asked for better care and attention! Even the housekeeping and maintenance staff entered the rooms interacting in a very positive way with patients. The therapists were exceptional and went about their work with an eye toward making every individual patient as strong and as functional as he could possibly be, and they did so with great senses of humor – they made the work fun, while at the same time challenging. I was impressed by their obvious respect for one another and their interaction like family – they like and enjoy one another. It made a delightful atmosphere for working to get stronger. I actually looked forward to going to the gym each day! All in all, I found Raleigh Court to be a great place for health care and rehabilitation, which is exactly what it is supposed to be. Is it perfect? No, of course not – no facility of this nature is, but it suited my needs exceptionally well, and I left with a feeling that these people were my friends and “family,” knowing I would miss them, but being grateful that they were there to help me when I needed it most!

Theres nowhere I would trust my families rehabilitation and long term care needs more than Raleigh Court Health and Rehabilitation Center. The experience with my great great aunt, grandmother, as well as many other friends and family members was amazing from beginning to end. Beginning with the admissions process Jamie was amazing. Very informative and welcoming. Her knowledge of our needs and confidence in her teams ability to meet them was very comforting. The facility is the cleanest I have ever been to. No smells, floors like glass, and we work constantly to maintain and better our building for the residents. Martha the Director of Nursing runs a tight ship. She is very involved and seemingly never leaves. Her availability 24 hours a day speaks strongly of her dedication and commitment. The administrators strive to be the best in the business shows through the great customer service he offers and quick response to any and all concerns or complaints. I am the Maintenance Director at Raleigh Court and wouldnt even consider sending my family or friends anywhere else.

Unfortunately i lived at Raleigh court for nine years. Although they had very few good employees, there were some. I had and saw lots of mistreatment of residents. The staff is not considerate. I do give the admission director credit. They do make that place look good. Once family members leave its horrible. I had to wear ear plugs at night to try to sleep because the staff and residents are loud. The staff ignores residents. My roommate was a diabetic and bottomed out because no one fed him. They do not answer call lights. If they do the cnas or nurses will come turn the call light off without asking the residents what they need. If they know family is coming that resident would be taking care of but if they know nobody comes or they know what day someone comes, people are took care of. Unfortunately thats every nursing home. My overall opinion about Raleigh court health and rehab is people would honestly get better treatment in prison than there. I encourage you to keep your loved ones home with caregivers but if they need nursing home placement do not place them in Raleigh court.

My Aunt had a stroke and has been at Raleigh Court & Rehab Center. I have been so pleased with the care in which she has received. The Administrative Staff, Mark and Martha have gone above and beyond to help us in anyway that they possible can. Both of which are very professional but make you feel very welcome and take the time to get to know you on a personal level. The nurses whom have cared for my Aunt, especially Spencer and Debbie make her feel comfortable and they both and all of the staff seem to be very well trained and supported by the Administrative staff. I am always so impressed when I walk in (which is almost daily) how clean and inviting it is. The staff at the front entrance are always so nice to greet me. In addition, my Aunt enjoys the food and always when I am there helping her with a meal, I notice that it is a very well balanced option for her. I am so grateful for all of the help provided from Raleigh Court Health and Rehab Center and am thankful we have such a wonderful clean and well run facility in our Community!

My mother has been to Raleigh Court numerous times for rehab after suffering from falls and most recently congestive heart failure. Each visit has been a most positive experience and Mom has been able to get physical therapy sessions needed to return to her assited living. I most recently commented to administrator, Mark Tubbs, that I am always encouraged to see that for each new visit we are greeted by the same friendly (and very competent) staff. This is an indication to me that the facility is well managed and people enjoy working there. I truly feel that my mother is always getting the best care and attention and I give high marks to Mark and Martha and the entire staff for setting the bar so high and for ensuring the best of care. Many thanks to the staff of Raleigh Court for always bringing my mother back to good health!! I highly recommend for any rehab stays!

My aunt is a resident on unit 2. I could not be happier with the care she receives. She is a very trying person at times and they deal with her with love, compassion and patience. I can not say enough about the entire staff on unit 2. The food looks great and my aunt has gained several pounds since her admission over a year ago. The cleanliness is unbelievable, I have personally never been there when there is an unpleasant odor and I am there almost every day. I am a nurse @ CRMH and have witnessed many patients admitted from Skilled Nursing Facilities with "bed sores" and never have witnessed one from Raleigh Court. I scouted many SNF prior to admitting my aunt and by far this one is number 1 in my book. Thank you all for what you do!
