the doctor seems really nice, but if you go behind the scenes at this vet clinic its not only filthy and hardly ever cleaned, but they dont do things in the right way. anesthetic procedures are done without monitoring a patient what-so-ever. The "technicians" that he uses dont know anything about veterinary medicine and they cant answer even the simpliest of question. Their boarding facility is awful and people never show up when they are suppose to on the weekends. they can get there at 9 am and then not show up again in the evening until 10 pm. i know all this because i am a veterinary technician and have been for 6 years...i also worked there for a short period of time. I left because of the unsanitary and unworkable conditions of the "back" part of this hospital.

I cant rave about Burke forest Vet Clinic enough! Dr. Bowles is kind, genuine, professional and explained everything! After calling to make an appointment for a wellness exam they took us back to check her general health out and found she had been bitten. They took her and kept her on the spot, told me what would have to happen, gave me an estimate and came in much lower. The staff is as nice and helpful as the doctors! They were truly kind and pleasant to be around! I found my permanent veterinarian clinic!! Excellent place. Dont chance going anywhere else!

The most uncompassionate veterinary provider I have encountered. I called in distress because I believed Petal, my cat and patient of 16 years, was dying. They said they were booked and could not see her. I asked again because it was critical and they put me on hold and refused. I stressed she was very sick and their long time patient. They put me on hold again and the vet said they would see her and charge an additional $100 emergency fee. I was in disbelief. Petal was later put to rest by an unfamiliar but very kind and sympathetic clinic.

I have been with Burke Forest Vet Clinic for almost 5 years now and I can say, without hesitation, that they are the best of the best. Caring, compassionate, funny and they love my fur babies like their own. They have settled my "neurotic mom nerves" on way too many occasions and have cared for and nurtured my 2 puppies every step of the way. When you walk in they are not trying to sell you everything in the world--they ask how you are and how the babies are. Give them a try---your beloved pets will thank you.

The office and staff are extremely friendly and are great at what they do. They recognize our pet by name when we bring her in. Can go on Saturdays and weekdays often without appointment. If you email the Dr, she evens writes back with valuable feedback. All there generally enjoy what they do and care about your animal.

Dr. Osten has always been very responsive for our miniature schnauzer. Mabel is treated like family by the entire staff. When she comes back from the groomer, I am asked, who did your grooming? We love this family clinic.

Amazing staff. They really make you feel like you are family. I dont know how prices compare but a check up is $60.00 when I went. Seems like a great price to me!

My dog and cat love it here. The staff is so nice and helpful. I love the waiting room cats but my dog wants to eat them :-)
