Staff was friendly. Front desk staff member was on a personal cell phone call but did put the phone down long enough to say goodbye. Nurse practitioner was nice and thorough. I only went there because my regular pediatrician was out of the office for a week. Im giving them 2 stars because of the outrageous pricing. I have insurance but the charges for the procedures is insane. They also charge you a $60 fee for being "out of business hours" even though the business doesnt open until after normal business hours. Sounds a lot like a rip off to me. Also, the low level office visit charge was $330 and we didnt even see an actual physician, just a nurse practitioner. Who by the way didnt do anything other than a physical exam. That is a ridiculous price just for an office visit. Add in the "special services" fee and you have an almost $400 bill being sent to insurance. I definitely will NOT be returning. There are other walk in offices in the area that have much more reasonable pricing and their staff, providers and facilities are just as nice. They also offer after hours care without ripping you off for it!

I absolutely love this place. All of the nurses and Doctors are fantastic. Even the front office staff are very welcoming and helpful. I love the little play area they have for kids and the coffee machine for adults! I took my son here because he was having trouble breathing and couldnt sleep at all the entire day. Our nurse and doctor, Dr. Oetjen, were awesome. The nurse was so sweet and the Doctor really knew what she was doing and talking about. She gave my son a nebulizer treatment in the office and some steroids for his lungs and it made a huge difference. When we had to go back a few days later for a nasty cough he couldnt seem to kick, the same doctor we had came in to check on us and see how he was doing. She really cares about her patients and the kids that come into Kid Med and I absolutely love that about her. If possible, you definitely want to get her! Dr. Oetjen is fantastic!

Do not go here unless you want to pay out the nose. Receptionist was nice and friendly telling me that $150 would cover my childs ear infection diagnosis. Even when I left they said, "yes your $150 will cover this diagnosis." And then I received a bill for more than $50 more. When I questioned it, they lied and said that they never told me that. Then they said that they made a mistake and the should have charged me $364 for the service. For an ear infection. Really? And I told them that we knew it was an ear infection when we walked in the door. Avoid at all costs. This place is a scam, especially for those with high deductible plans or out of state insurance. These people are the reason health care costs are so high. Total frauds. If you do have to go there, make sure you get everything in writing.

Good evening not sure if anyone has a sick child right now but I got a call today saying my 8 year old was running a fever (1st time ever)(beyond thankful). So I took him straight to Kidmed in Stafford and today was the absolute best experience ever. Started with kasha at the front desk spilled to Val the pct then to April the nurse practitioner. When we got a room to be seen my son was struggling his head was hurting, throat and coughing just not feeling the greatest. He ended up needing a chest xray and Leigh Ann was amazing with him. I just really enjoyed this visit and the way the staff treated us. My son still doesnt feel good but the double treatment for his asthma and now waiting for the final call tomorrow about his xray. All will be just fine God has him

Excellent staff, doctors/RNP and facilities! I had taken my daughter to a different urgent care only to be referred to the ER because the doctor was uncomfortable giving stitches to a 3yo. So, I took her to Kidmed instead. They were wonderful! Not only were they great with her but with her three siblings as well. Dont get me wrong. She screamed and cried about the stitches BUT they were prepared for this type of normal behavior. They continued to comfort her while providing the care she needed. Also I had mentioned we were new to the area and looking for a primary care. The front desk saff took the time to print me a list of local pediatricians. I truly appreciated this. This is where I will take all my children in the future for after hours care.

KidMed was FANTASTIC! We took our son in for ear pain which ended up being an ear infection. From the time we walked in, we were taken back by the Nurse in about 10 minutes, saw the Doc a few minutes later and were on our way shortly after that with a diagnosis, medicine and a prescription to pick up. The nurse and doctor were great -- listened to all of our concerns and were great with our little one. This place was better than most Doctors offices and a million times better than waiting for hours in an ER. The facility itself is awesome - very clean and well taken care of... boy kids left with a sticker and a pop!

They dont even deserve 1 star , very mean staff and administrator, I went with my son today developed 3 cysts on his head, after 40 minutes wait they didnt take him because I just had the insurance card number on me but not the actual card on me. Their only reason was that they need to see the card ( even though we been their before on the Same card and I have the same insurance number since then) or want me to pay non refundable $200 upfront and bill me the rest by mail. That was ridiculous i will never go back there, and wont recommend this place to anyone who wants a good care of their child

Today was my second visit with my teenager. Weve now visited for a sprained ankle and a sinus infection and both times the quality of care she received was second to none. If you cant get to your normal pediatrician this is the place to go. They use kid friendly language, talk directly to your child and make sure you as the parent also have a chance to ask any questions you may have. You know its got to be good when a teenager asks to go here instead of one of the several other options closer to our home. Thanks KidMed. Im so glad you came to Stafford!

Excellent customer service. The front desk is always attentive and fast. The nurse practitioner Emory is amazing and has a wonderful sense of humor. The location is super convenient and I have never seen my kids actually enjoy the doctor. Most of the bad reviews I have seen are all billing related. When it comes to my children and them needing care, billing is the last thing on my mind. It is important that the patients are aware of their own benefits too!

Ive had to take both my 1 year old and 3 year old a few times. Always consistent care, from the front desk to the doctors. The treatment is outstanding. I wish we could use them for our primary care. As for the pricing, it was the same as our primary care doctor. It all has to do with your insurance coverage. It is a urgent care, so it would typically cost the same as going to an ER or Urgent Care facility.
