Everyone is super friendly to both us and more importantly our dog! Our pup got mange and had to go in for a few treatments. Not the cheapest thing ever, but thats more of a function of the times then a negative of the vet. Originally called for three treatments but it cleared up after only two. This office wants your dog to be healthy and happily works with Pet RX companies online and other local pharmacies to fulfill your prescriptions - no pressure to buy from them, although their prices on medicines seem to be very competitive. If youve taken your dog to a vet, you know how they drag their feet in fear as they realize where theyre going. Weve never had that happen here, even after our dog had to have some of her skin scraped off for the mange treatment. I think her (our dogs) attitude towards the people at this office and the vet says enough for me.

I love the Doctors there, but i had my old cat put down august 25th and never recieved a bill.. i called and they had the wrong address so i fixed it and waited for a bill... i just received one in February and it had late payments on it... which made no sense.. while i was there fro the procedure i gave the right address and everything.. Doesnt matter.. What matters is the fact that Doctor Mangelsdorf took GREAT care of my cat.. they explained the whole procedure to me while i was crying as hard as i could.. They let me hold him while he left us, it killed me but They took amazing care of him.. They are the best vet around!!!!! They let me take the towel he was wrapped in home with me and i still have it :( Thank you Colonial Vet for everything :)

Dr Sullivan is a tremendous Vet. Hes gruff demeanor is a facade for an amazingly kind loving gentle Dr who has your pets best interest at heart. He has helped us through 2 of our three dogs who have passed away. He helped make the experience bearable. His knowledge is superb and his cost are very reasonable. He does what he does because it is obvious he loves animals. I would recommend Dr Sullivan to everyone. We miss him dearly here in his Alma mater state of Florida Dr Stephen Bolduc, Pam and Finn His favorite Berger Picard

Dr. Sullivan, Dr. Manglesdorf and their entire staff are compassionate, professional, and extremely considerate people. We brought our dog to them for 15 years, and every time they saw her they made sound and insightful decisions regarding her care. Great vets, all three of them. Friendly staff out front. Treat the pets very nicely. Offer solutions that dont necessarily include the latest high tech gadgets. They know the process of the meds and tests the suggest and tell you up front. They offer alternatives it some options are too pricey.
