I understand Dr. Durflinger is running a business, but Im not sure I see how a $100 to cancel an appointment, keeps customers. Especially when my employer gets to priorities my schedule for me, or things need to change after a snow storm. I suppose she doesnt need patients with jobs and insurance. The email and text appointment reminder alert system is annoying, allowing you to confirm your appointment, but why cant you notify them in either way, you need to reschedule or cancel. You have to call. The other comment about her prices is right, I didnt realize it until after the fact, but what I paid out of pocket for a couple of fillings was the most Ive paid for any dental work since I had 6 wisdom teeth pulled. Ive paid the cancellation fee, and I wont be rescheduling.

This office must be absolutely desperate for money. They keep making appointments for us and then charge us a fee for cancelling/not showing up. Ive told them numerous times we are NOT interested in their services and we have even moved away from the area but they keep sending me "friendly reminders" of appointments I have never made and then send me a bill for not showing up!! When I try to contact them via their website it only leads me to a page that allows me to make another appointment. So then I have to waste more time and call to speak to their rude receptionist who is trying to somehow blame me for their error. Horrible business practices.

I am one of those who tend to shy away from writing reviews, unless I feel the product or service was poor. In this instance, I am compelled to share an excellent experience. I have only been going to Auburn Family Dental for about a year, but have had enough comprehensive visits to share the service exhibited; from the courtesy of the initial call, the comfortable atmosphere of the facilities, and the professional caring teamwork throughout. The dental care I received has been the best I can recall. If you’re looking for a dentist or are having dental issues, I do highly recommend you give Dr. Marie Durflinger and Auburn Family Dental a call.

While the staff and the dental hygienist Brook were great, Dr. Durflinger is nothing more than a used car salesman. Talked condescendingly to me, trying me to buy things that my insurance wouldnt cover. Stay away from her. If you just need a cleaning, Brook is great. But stay away from Dr. Durflinger. She seems just out to get money. The place is expensive too, charging top of the line for work done. Also, $42 for 45 minutes of nitrous? What a ripoff. Its pretty obvious they write all their 5 star reviews themselves, they are all written around the same date, with very few before or after. Deceiving.

Dr. Durflinger completely restored my teeth after years of decay. They look great and feel great and her repairs have lasted 9 years so far. I cant tell you how amazing it is to not have to deal with constant mouth pain anymore. I would be in dentures by now if it werent for Dr. Durflinger and her staff. I continue to have quarterly cleanings and annual xrays at this office. Great staff, though I miss seeing Jeanette at the front desk now that shes retired! The rest of the Auburn staff Jon, Wendy and Diane are all super great - I always look forward to chatting with them when I come in.

Place reminds me of a car dealership. I moved to Auburn, while pregnant, so by the time we got around to finding a new dentist, it had been 18 months since last cleaning. The staff reacted as though it had been 10 years?! Insisted on deep cleaning, and extra measures. Panicking me into getting three " fixed" at once. The teeth had never bothered me before, but I have not been able to eat properly for the 6 months since they were worked on. Have been back in 3 times for adjustment. We will be going elsewhere.

Im a new patient at Auburn Family Patient in the last year, a friend recommended Dr Durflinger. Auburn family dental does a great job - the staff is thorough, friendly and focused. I like that Dr Marie laid out a plan for my dental care and each visit discusses with me what is happening and what to expect going forward. I would recommend Dr Marie to family and friends - and anyone looking for a professional, worry-free dentist and healthy teeth.

Dr. Durflinger is by far the best dentist that has ever worked on my teeth and in 67 years I have had a few. Both she and her associates are always professional, proficient and always very patient focused. If you do not yet have a dentist in the area, or you are looking to move to a new dentist, I would urge you to visit Auburn Family Dental and I am sure you will find that my rating of Excellent is well deserved. dr durflinger and her staff are excellent! After having some bad experiences with dentists, dr durflinger finally makes me have faith in dentistry once again. She has fixed even their mistakes for me and helped me come up with a guide to help with future issues that may arise with my teeth. The atmosphere is comforting and warm. I couldnt ask for a better dentists office!
