Whatever you do, choose a different dentist! My child will now be forever traumatized by this place! I am writing on behalf of my son and 4 other moms that had the same problem! I have a friend who brought her daughter in, the dentist said her daughter had cavities in all back molars and needed to cap them all, they had said the same thing about my son and to my friends sisters son. She thought that was a little strange so she took her daughter to a different dentist and to find out her daughter had no cavities what so ever! I am really sad I put my son through everything he had to go through. I think they only look at children as $! When my son was laying in the chair to get his last cap put on he was strapped down, glasses on, tilt backwards with a gas nose on and he panicked. He said he couldnt breathe and started crying. The dentist asked for me to please leave the room because I was distracting him which I was just sitting in the chair and not saying anything at all but I went out and stood by the door to look in. Then my son yelled for me and the dentist said in a very stern voice, "Your mom had to leave because you are being a very bad boy!" I then opened the door to go right back in because I was so upset that he would say something like that! Then all of a sudden my son vomited straight into the air. I stopped the procedure right then and there! I was FURIOUS! Let me just say I could not sleep for days after that. I still cry thinking about it and now my son never wants to go to a dentist again. This is the WORST place to take your child!!!!!

While my son, 7 years old, was able to go there with little to no anxiety their business practices are shady at best. First, they told us we would be out of pocket $362 for a couple of cavities because of sedation. Each appointment was supposed to be $181 and for some reason one of them was $221 so we paid a total of $402, not a big deal because hey insurance does not cover everything. So the problem becomes that we have double insurance and insurance actually does pay everything. When we found out that insurance paid all of this my wife called and asked about the money we paid, the lady told her they would look at it in the next 30 to 45 days, absolutely ridiculous. Then about two weeks later they bill our insurance a second time and get paid partially again by my wifes insurance. We notify the insurance company and they reverse the payment, I send a demand letter for our money outlining all payments made. A week or so later they bill the insurance again, this time we get insurance to call them and speak with them and reverse payments again. Finally in May (this started in March) we get our money back. To me, absolutely unethical and bad business practices all around: buyer beware.

Horrible! My son was scheduled for his dental procedure and I was told he would need to be placed under anesthesia. Not a huge shock because he needed quite a bit of work done. But what really floors me is the fact that when they place a reminder call they tell you that they have a "new" rule in place. "You need to bring two adults with you." Why, I asked? "Because someone needs to be in the backseat with your child on the way home. Just to make sure his airway stays clear and nothing happens." WHAT! are you kidding? My son has brachial plexus therefore has had to have a few procedures done as well as MRIs throughout his short life already. Every time he has had to be put under anesthesia the hospital watches him for at LEAST an hour sometimes two. Please tell me how this is safe? We will go somewhere else who actually cares about the children they work on and actually has there interest at heart.

Childrens dental care has made my experience with my overly anxious child a wonderful experience. From the exciting decorations on the wall (jungle theme with monkeys parrots waterfalls and butterflies) to the waiting room area which has toys and a computer laboratory for the older children. They set the child up with little tokens right away if they get their X-rays and get them pumped up for more little treats after looking at their teeth. They get to enjoy one of the newest movies on monitors above their heads and the assistants make sure to get them comfortable. The whole experience is a start to finish win!!!!! My son begs to go to the dentist and that is not something I could wish as a child so this makes the experience so worth it! Thank you Childrens dental Bonney lake!

We were referred to Childrens Dental Care by my Sister-in-law that has been taking my nieces here for years. While my son has always been fairly relaxed about dental visits, my daughter has always been terrified, and I was so anxious about our first visit and wondering how the staff would deal with her fear. From the moment we first walked in, I was amazed! They greeted us so warmly and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the short time we had to wait by having super fun decorations around, great kids movies playing and even access to gaming systems. They took such amazing care of my little girl every time weve been there since and we absolutely adore the staff and Doctors at Childrens Dental Care. Definitely recommended!

Childrens Dental in Bonney Lake is the best pediatric dentist around! From the jungle themed play area, computer games and TVs above the dental chairs, everything at their office is dedicated to the comfort of children. The best part of this dentists office is their staff. The front desk, financial, assistants, and doctors who work their are all understanding, friendly, courteous, and caring. One specific example I have from this office is when they kept the office open late for us to come in after hours when my 4-year-old son went head-first over his handle bars, knocking some teeth out, and breaking others. They have gone above and beyond for us many times. This office is simply amazing!

Our children have been patients at the Bonney Lake office for the past 9 years and weve been happy throughout. I can attest to their accuracy; another dentist missed 2 cavities in an exam whereas CDC, 2 days later, were very thorough and found all four cavities present. The manner of the staff and dentists is very pleasing and puts our kids at ease. One of our kids has sensory issues and finds the dentist to be a great struggle, however CDC has won her over with their patience and kindness over the past few years and she now has no fear or anxiety about her exams. It is truly a wonderful place with caring staff and we will continue to take our little ones here.

Like others have said we were quoted a much different price than what we were billed. For 4 cavities we paid around $600 and that was with insurance! The bill was a shock and the experience was VERY traumatic for my 4 year old. They had 4 people holding her down as well myself as she screamed for the entire procedure. She has sensory processing disorder and I clearly stated that several times before coming in but they did nothing but strap her to a chair to make her feel comfortable. I left traumatized and she left traumatized. I have never written a review before this but this level of care and the billing absolutely needs to be addressed.
