Many reviews highlight the compassionate and conservative approach of Dr. Frieman. He is known for suggesting only necessary tests and treatments. For instance, one pet owner mentioned that Dr. Frieman provided a urine test free of charge to ensure the pet's well-being.
The staff, particularly Dr. Freiman, takes the time to educate pet owners. Whether it's about ear infections or the anatomy of a dog's ear, the clinic ensures that pet owners are well-informed.

Dr Frieman is a very caring compassionate doctor. My little dog was having an issue with crystals in his urine. Dr Frieman suggested that I put him on CD prescription food to see if that made a difference. He had been on antibotics to clear up the initial infection but Dr Frieman was concerned that it might reoccur. We havent had any issue with crystals since we put him on a restricted diet. Dr Frieman did not suggest any unneeded testing or treatment. He was very conservative in his approach. He said that if my dog seemed to be doing better on the food, to wait about 3 weeks and bring him back in and he would run one more urine test to ensure he was ok. I was so surprised that for the final test Dr Frieman provided the test without charging as he wanted to make sure my little one was 100% healthy and not just assume he was as he seemed better on the food. I appreciate his caring attitude. His staff is wonderful and very gentle and caring with our dogs. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Factoria and I am extremely picky and careful about which vet I take my dogs to as they are my family.

A few months ago I brought my newly adopted two year old hound in for his first general exam. Dr. Freiman determined that my boy had a slight ear infection and showed me clearly and in detail the anatomy of dogs ear and how to best administer the cleaning solution and ear drops. Once at home it became difficult to administer the same medicine on my own as Reggie resisted my attempts to squirt the cleaning solution on my own. The clinic worked with me over the phone to try a few different methods but still my boy was uncooperative. Thankfully they were aware of new ear foam they could administer in the clinic just one time that would stay in the ear and take care of the infection without me having the aggravation of struggling to administer at home by myself. After a few weeks it seems Reggie is rarely itching anymore. All throughout the process Dr Freiman and his staff were professional, flexible and accommodating of my dogs stubbornness and aggressive resistance to the early ear treatment. Thanks AHOF.

I have been taking my two dogs and two cats to the Animal Hospital of Factoria for several years now and I could not be happier with my vet. I have developed a great relationship with Dr. Freiman over the years and all of my pets like him which makes trips to the vet a much more pleasant experience. One of the great features of the Animal Hospital is the kennel option that lets me feel comfortable on my business trips knowing that my dogs (the cats get to stay home) are in good hands. The staff at the Animal Hospital knows my dogs well and gives them great individual attention that makes me feel better about having to kennel them. With the VIP treatment for my dogs, they get to run around in the well kept, fenced off, turf area in the back. The whole package is very convenient, but more than that, I trust Dr. Freiman to give my pets the best care possible if something serious comes up because he has proved his skills in both tough diagnosis’s and surgery for me in the past.

I called and got an estimate on having my dogs spayed. they said it would be $400.00. when i showed up to drop off my dogs, turns out it is $800!! I said i was not paying that much and left. i took them to another vet and had the same procedure done for $200. then i get a $75 bill in the mail for a missed apt!!! i was there so i did not MISS the apt. i went down there and the girl at the front desk was very rude! i took the statement from the other vet to show her and she just gave me a smirk and told me they would call me. i was sent to collections for the $75. i will pay it before it hits my perfect credit record but i am happy to know that this place will only get half of that. and maybe if someone reads this they will do their homework and go somewhere else and i will get the satisfaction of making up the money i lost to a dishonest establishment such as this one.

We have enjoyed having AHOF as our Vet since Dr Freiman first opened. We were lucky enough to actually meet him before he opened AHOF. We have even got 2 of our dogs from AHOF when other customers were no longer able to keep their dogs. We have learned to always trust them with our animals. And he has been there for us. Many times when we have had to make some very tough choices. When we get new dogs. Usually after the first few visits our dogs are happy when they get to visit. And run up the ramp to go inside. This has always made us feel great that our dogs know they are going to be treated well. We have not had to visit in several months now. Everyone has been healthy. But we plan to visit soon to check out the new remodel. We love AHOF The Bangerter Family

We have been bringing our dogs to AHOF for many years. Dr Freiman has cared for 4 of our dogs from puppyhood to end of life. The staff are all around great people who show love and respect for both pet and human. Dr. Freiman is not only very current on all posible treatments for issues that come up, i.e., skin rashes, food alergies, etc., but he has such compassion for how much our pets mean to us and the emotional attachments we experience throughout their lives. Being in partnership with the care of our animals is very important to me. Having a Vet TELL me vs. offer me options on how to approach a situation is appreciated. He is always willing to take time to answer questions and discuss the well being of our dogs.

the first thing i noticed when I checked out this clinic was that it didnt have that dingy smell that most vet clinics tend to have. And besides the smell, I can tell that the owners are "attention to detail people" (like me) judging off of the art work and personal touches throughout the building. Besides aesthetics, I greatly appreciated the docs thorough explanations of what was going on with my dog. He also explained to me why (counterintuitively) its worse to shave a dog during the summer. Crazy huh!? It turns out that since they dont sweat, but pant to cool off instead, shaving their hair removes a layer of insulation that protects (!!!) them from the sun. Who knew :) my old vet was certainly clueless on that one.

I recently boarded my dog with the Animal Hospital of Factoria and had a really good experience. My girlfriend and I were out of town for five days, and, after having only moved to Seattle the week before, were nervous about trying someone new. Leaving your dog with strangers can cause a whole lot of anxiety for both you and your dog. But, Dr. Freiman and his staff were very professional and friendly, which helped allay our fears. We signed up for the "VIP Treatment", which included extra play time with the other VIP members. Bodhi (our dog) came back to us happy and healthy! We plan on making Dr. Freiman our full time vet based on our experience with him and his staff.
