The building may be small. It may be old. It may have been around a million years. But it goes to show you the TLC approach that they dole out at a REASONABLE price, and vets that are willing to work with you if you are not filthy rich and cant afford to go to places like VCA and be taken for an emotional and financial ride, works, or this small, old building, with a dedicated, albeit busy staff--who are willing to give you money saving tips on things like flea control, and listen to you when in the office your animal acts normal, that youve noted a general behavioral change and the "Joan Collins Fund," now tapped out, but a dedicated member of the staff passed suddenly of a heart attack and left everything she owned to the clinic for low-income families to have animals fixed at little to no charge. Though the fund is out, it fixed my babies, and I am grateful, to both Drs Gill and Shepherd for the excellent care my cats (even my late Dobby), who Joan handled with a firm hand :-) Such true dedication to their work is rare, and attention to cost without judgement of the owner is rare and to be of value, not critical because the building is old. They work with what they have and keep costs low so that in a failing economy people can continue to have their animals at home, not turned over to the pound, which now is a death sentence. GOD BLESS.

We took our cat here because something was obviously terribly wrong. They checked him over and decided he had kidney stones and then gave us an itemized list to show the cost. They decided he needed to stay overnight (which cost us for room and food as well). I liked the itemized list ahead of time, as well as the fact that they took Care Credit since we couldnt afford the bills. However, the next day things changed. They did surgery on him and gave him a catheter and a cone on his head. They said we could take him home or keep him there but suggested we keep him there in case doe thing happened they could help me where as at home we would be responsible for him. Well, he somehow got his come off and was chewing his catheter until it came out. They called and had to reinsert it, putting him back under again and charging us for both! Then they suggested he needed to stay two more nights because they wanted to do blood work again (they had already done twice costing us $80 something each time). Finally, day four, he got to go home and we got a $1496.00 bill. Yay. They gave us medicine and said he would be just fine. Wrong. Three days later, our cat was dead. Interesting. And now we are still paying off that stupid bill. I would never ever recommend to anybody!!!!

They care about your family members and remember their names and clearly show they love animals they will pet and hold them when nervous and their prices arent over the top -s they will work around it and help you.. my dogs had 2 surgeries and they did great hes back to being normal.. they love their job And it shows.. I wouldnt bring my love bug if they werent as kind as they are this is the friendliest vet Ive met, they work around you to see whats going on with the options and all the costs up front so you can see what is important to fix this or at least know before you make a decision about what you think you should do and they will. Talk you all the way through.. you should go there if you are looking for a vet that is affordable and actually cares about your animals.. I dont like leaving my dog anywhere in someones control but there I trust them and know he is ok ;) so if the vets read this thank you for being such a kind loving vet office

I have been going to Broadway Animal Hospital for roughly 9 Years. I could not ask for a better and more knowledgeable Veterinary staff. They are always very happy to try and get me in for an appointment as soon as possible. They also have great hours unlike most Vet offices, are open all day on Saturday. They treat all of my dogs, whether my own or foster dogs, as equal. What I also love about Broadway is that they have two jars in the window and when you book an exam for your pet, they provide you with a token to put in one of the jars of your choice. Both jars are for non profit organizations. How many Veterinary offices have donation jars out for non profits that they donate directly to when you bring your pet in for an exam? I havent come across any others. The pricing is excellent vs most Vet Offices in the Seattle area. I would definitely recommend booking in your dog or cat.

Dr.Black is Amazing, Hands down one of the most compassionate and kind vets we have had. Hes extreamly knowledgeable and genuinely has the best interest for our furbabie. Downside Is the office staff from our experience so far has been absolutely horrible. They need to improve teaching them customer service skills and friendliness, too many inconsistencies with them as well (Aside from 2 vet assistants/nurses and one of the front-end ladies) We have had the WORST experience with how they treat people than any other veterinary clinic we have ever been to and due to that we may have to consider switching to another veterinary clicnic which is a huge disappointment because really really really like Dr.Black.

My person takes me to the vet doctor whenever I am hurting. We can always get an appointment right away, and never have to wait in the lobby with all the dogs for very long, (I am not fond of dogs). The Dr. fixes me up, sends me home with medicine, and I am feeling better in no time. My person is always super thankful that they are willing to work with her on my more expensive treatments, so that I can get the care I need right away. Our old friend Morty Kitty (RIP) was a patient there as well. We are loyal and grateful for the love and care all the staff has to offer. Broadway Animal Hospital will always be my choice for kitty health care.

Took my Chewy in for the 1st time here b/c other vet with good reviews was closed on jan.16 holiday. Im so glad b/c these folks are truly caring and professional. Even when I said I couldnt afford some of the future treatment plan they were wonderfully understanding and sent me other options via email.THEN a couple days later called to see how Chewy was doing!!! While in their office clients were received as tho they were family! It was a clean and welcoming environment. I will trust Chewys care to this office!

Dr Smalley and his staff are awesome at what they do! I always leave there feeling I know what is up with my dogs, and what I can do to help them if they are sick. Dr Smalley even recommended a different surgery for my dog, when he himself could have done a surgery that would have been fine but not a long-term solution. That proved to me that he thought more of my pet than of his checking account. I trust this hospital with the care of my dogs who are more like my kids. They have earned that trust!
