Money hungry. Was recommended to take my snake here since the vets here know alot about reptiles. They took some biopsies of my snakes lump to send it to a lab to get tested(300+75 to take my snake there). The doctor said that the lump could be in her ovaries or blocking her intestine (odviously causing my snake pain), they told me they would get results within a week to know if its cancer or a mass(so.. death or surgery). 2 weeks later i still hadnt gotten a phone call, i called them, still no test results.. 3 weeks later no test results.. 4 weeks after me calling and calling they finally got the results. Sadly it was WAY to late for my snake. 4 weeks... after you told me 1 week.. and no phone call to update me or to check on my pet? The amount of compassion for their clients pets at this animal hospital is little to none. I would never want anyone else to experience what i did. Just dont take your pet here. I am very thankful for this hospital and team of doctors and staff. I brought my 13 year old bearded dragon here for weakness and edema. My buddy and I were treated really well, and the doctor was very knowledgeable. Dr. Sanders was amazing and very helpful answering questions I had, responding to emails and calling me back after closing. Front desk staff is amazing, offered to stay after to allow me time to come in for meds after I finished work. They offer boarding, which I wish I would have known much sooner, as I used to haul my buddy and his tank across the bay area for babysitters. They have all the tanks and equipment needed for a safe and cozy stay, just bring your own box to transport. I highly recommend them.

Theyve been caring for out parrot for years with excellent knowledge and compassion. She has a seizure disorder usually set of by exam stress. A little Valium can help, but Dr Sanders is so calm and attuned that he can sometimes trim and examine her without an episode. Wildwood Vet moved to Redwood City from Portola Valley (due to lease change). Same great service, friendly and professional. I hope I never have to find another bird vet. They have great selection of bird toys and accessories too, reasonable prices.
