I felt the service at Green Lake Animal Hospital was a terrible experience. Dr. Lisa Edwards did not take the time to really examine the cause of my dogs snore paw. She briefly looked at it and told me that it could be several things causing the problem but did not really explain or go into any details. I mentioned to her that my 8 pound dog runs and walks on dry grass and that she had a problem with cheat grass 2 months ago. She did not know the exact cause but prescribed antibiotics and antihistamines. During the 6-7 days of taking the medicine, my dog was still in some pain. After the 8th day, I noticed that my dog was having more trouble walking again and was licking her paws quite often. I examine her paw, the same infection area had gotten worst. The infection area between her paws had a pustule. After removing some of the pus, I found a very dry grass seed inside her skin and removed it. Now the infection is healing with each day passing. Also after the exam, the vet left the room. I waited an additional 35 minutes, I had to come out of the exam room and ask someone to come back and finish clipping my dogs nails. I found this was not professional to keep me waiting so long and to charge $27.00 for the nail clip that took only 3-4 minutes. Normally I can get this done for $10-15 in other places but thought I would be nice to get this done since I was here. I would NOT recommend this place to any one after my experience here. This was a very big costly mistake of $180.00 and hope that everyone will stay away and should do further research before searching for a veterinarian. I would have given no star but that was not an option here.

I have never had such a positive experience at a veterinary hospital or clinic before! The staff and vets are top-notch - to the point where I wonder if my dog is getting a better medical experience than I usually do :). We just moved to Seattle a few months ago, and they helped my pup adjust to the transition (and a renewed separation anxiety) without immediately resorting to prescription meds. They are very attentive and helpful, even over the phone. My dog usually freaks out at the vet, but for some reason she was calm in the waiting room and even tried to make puppy friends!

So great. My dog is extremely nervous to go to the vet, and here the vets and techs are very patient with him, even sitting with us on the bench for visits since hes too scared to leave my side. They really care about the pets health and have even not charged me for visits when my dog didnt need care beyond a quick check on a cut. Other vets really nickel and dime for visits, but here I really feel like they have the animals well being in mind. Id highly recommend bringing a pet to Greenlake animal hospital

I have been taking my four cats to Green Lake Animal Hospital for more than ten years. Two have problems associated with being elderly cats but the staff does a great job of keeping them healthy- especially Dr Mortimer. I also appreciate the friendliness and efficiency of the technicians and front desk staff and the willingness of people there to help me prioritize services since taking care of four cats can be an impact on the pocketbook.

We love Dr. Mortimer and all of the staff at Greenlake Animal Hospital. We also used to go to Ravenna Animal Hospital (part of the same group). Super caring, knowledgeable veterinarians and wonderful tech and admin staff. Theyve helped us with complicated cancer surgeries and treatments as well as routine wellness. Weve seen a lot of specialists and this crew tops them all.

Greenlake animal hospital has good vets but the staff is unbearable. They will not relay your message to the vet it you call and they have an answering service after hours where they will frequently hang up on you. This is not a joke. I wish it was. I have been there quite a few times and it got so ridiculous that i would never takes an animal back there or deal with it.

I have been coming to GLAH since mid-1970s; it was recommended to me by someone who worked there - she was completely awed by how good they were (her previous job was with a vet who smoked in surgery - yeow!). I am very satisfied with everyone who works there
