I just read the review below from Eva about an experience she and her family had with Dr. Brett Richardson. They indicated that he was more into up-selling product than actually providing an amazing patient experience. This blew my mind because of all the awesome experiences Ive had with him and that team! Then I had to remember that everyone has their own perceptions and experiences, and therefore, since Eva shared hers...Id like to share mine. Ive been going to this clinic for the past few years, purchased multiple sets of glasses/services, and have had nothing but incredible experiences with both doctors (and their team - especially Jennifer!). They have always taken their time to educate me, ask questions, and inform me of all my options. Dr. Brett is great at letting me know his professional opinion and allowing me to make my choice - and thats exactly what a provider SHOULD do. Even if I dont comply with that recommendation, neither of them (especially Dr. Brett) have ever made me feel anything but supported (unlike the person in the below review that are making some pretty hefty assumptions about Dr. Brett). Its important to remember that all of us are hard-wired as humans to think we are the center of the universe and that everything happens TO US. Perception is reality...and its apparent in that other review that the person made assumptions, rather than simply communicating with Dr. Brett in the moment about their feelings. Thats not his fault, its theirs. Its too bad they felt the need to post about it, but then again, we are all entitled to our opinions. Therefore, MY OPINION is that this clinic, their team, and both doctors are exceptional not only as experts in their fields but also at providing outstanding patient experiences. Hats off to you, Richardson Eye Clinic! I love my latest set of new glasses and look forward to seeing you all soon!

My whole family visited the clinic for our appointments (this was our first-time visit there) and we were treated very offhandedly by Dr. Brett Richardson. All if the secretaries and techs were very kind and competent, but Dr. Brett Richardsons only interest seemed to be in selling extensions to our glasses. He took about as much time telling us about extra-thin lenses and glare protectors and designer frames as he did actually examining us. When we told him we did not want anything the insurance didnt cover, he stopped making the courtesy of eye contact, or even glances in our general direction unless it was entirely necessary. When I picked he frames that I wanted, he insisted that I choose another pair because he didnt think the style was "appropriate" for someone my age and gender. His main concern seemed not to be in proper, in-depth examination and patient care, but in enforcing a gender divide on frames and, most importantly, in selling me everything he could. I would very strongly advise choosing a different optometrist.

I recently visited the clinic for new glasses and contacts. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Jennifer took the time to help me find the glasses that best suited my face shape as well as the style I had in mind. Dr. Richardson was very professional and informative, explaining, as he went along, each process while at the same time asking questions about my family and my work. There was some confusion with my insurance coverage, and Stacy went above and beyond to make sure that the problem was fixed and was extremely apologetic about the mix-up! Overall I had a great experience and plan to use them as my permanent eye care clinic as long as I am in the area!

My kids and I have had appointments here and I was so happy with the experience. My son and I needed glasses and my daughter does not. There was a big selection and the techs are very helpful. All of my questions were answered. Even though I am on state insurance I was never made to feel unvalued as a customer. I did not have to wait in the waiting room for more than a minute. (A very comfortable and elegant lobby!). Both doctors were kind, the kids felt comfortable, we all felt like we learned about our eyes and had all our questions answered. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs an eye exam.

I was referred here from Americas Best because I had a significant dark spot in my right eye. They saw me very quickly and did some more in depth looking at what was going on. They immediately showed me the results of their tests and I left feeling very informed and at peace as to what was happening. Now two weeks later and everything they said would happen has, and things are much better! I wont go anywhere else if something like this ever happens again, thanks guys!

I took my parents in to get a medical eye exam, and we didnt have to wait long at all. Everyone was very nice and respectful. Dr. Egbert did the exam for my parents, and he was very patient with them because they dont know much English. They were very satisfied with his recommendations and the overall experience of their exams. Before we left, Rachel had scheduled for their next couple appointments, which I do appreciate. Highly recommend this location.

They dont even deserve 1 star! But, the receptionists are nice. HOWEVER, I have never in my life seen it take so long to receive a pair of glasses! Always been less than 2 weeks....I just called about my daughters glass and she said it could be another 2 weeks. Plus father and son need to get on the same page when seeing each others patients. Never again will I go here!!!

This clinic is great, never had a long wait time when i come in for eye exams and such and all the employees that work there are very polite and professional.
