Ive recently became a patient of Dr. Grahm at Lake Park Dental by reading reviews and by a personal recommendation. I always havent been a fan of going to the dentist, not because I dont care about my smile and health but because I would always feel overwhelmed by the visit, by the lack of communication or would leave with cuts or scrapes to my cheeks or gums. Lake Park Dental has changed my view. I went in for a cleaning and was welcomed by the receptionist Laura. She was very "bubbley" and greeted me with a great smile. She gave me an explanation of the paper work I was filling out and assisted me with all my questions. She even offered me ice cold water as it was very humid outside. The office itself is cozy and feels more personable than I expected. I loved the local artwork they had on the walls. I waited in the waiting room for approx. 10 minutes before I was greeted by the hygienist Amy. That day I was accompanied by my 5 yr old nephew and she encouraged him to come back into the room as well. They had a small kids nook if you will that he enjoyed to occupy his time. My teeth cleaning was very comfortable. As I mentioned I didnt like the care other dentist provided BC it seemed like they rushed things and I always left the appointment with some sort of oral abrasion. That was not the case here. Amy was a very skilled hygienist . She was conversational and asked me questions regarding my previous oral care and maintenance. During the cleaning she explained what she was doing and why, prepared me for any vibrations or procedures she deemed unpleasant for me as a patient and made sure to provide me with enough rinse and suction to keep me feeling relaxed and comfortable. We looked at pictures and xrays of my teeth and explained to me what I was looking at. After the cleaning Amy talked about preventative care and told Dr. Grahm and I about her findings and concerns. Dr. Grahm greeted me and reiterated Amys concerns and pointed to my strong points about my smile. She also put a goal into place regarding my oral health of what I wanted to accomplish and how she would help me achieve it. I mentioned to her that I was having some inflammation issues and ultimately wanted a straighter, brighter smile. All my concerns were met and I left with toothpaste to help my inflammation and information regarding invisalign to fix my bite and teeth that were misaligned. No other dental practice brought that to my attention as something I could improve on. It was more than the typical " be sure to brush, floss and Ill see you in 6 months". The care and recommendations were specific to me. It was actually a concern of mine all along. I found that between my exchange from the front desk receptionist, the hygienist and the doctor that everyone was personable, passonite and well versed about what they did and passed that on to me. It was a very seamless experience. They even let my nephew pick a toy from the "prize box " that they had for their little patients. Ill be back in 3 months to see the Dr. to check on my progress of both my invisalign and my inflammation. Im very happy with my dental care and would encourage all to meet Dr. Grahm and her staff to experience what its like to be properly cared for.

Wow, I actually like going to the dentist now. Weve all had a horror story or at least a bad experience going. This place is amazing. First off its pretty much a west elm- cool interior and comfortable furniture. Lisa and Laura are great and make you feel like youre at home when you come in with a beverage or a coffee. They also have great music playing. I have Angie for my hygenist and shes great. They explain everything theyre about to do, give you a great consultation and explain why things are happening or how they can be prevented. There are no surprises. One of the most noticeable things is the customer service. Theyre experts at their profession but do everything possible to make each appointment a pleasant experience for patients. There is also no lecturing or getting yelled at. They are super knowledgable and will keep you well informed about your dental hygeine without talking down to you. Did I mention you get a hot towel and the patient chair has a massage function in it? I have Dr. Graham and she is wonderful. They also give you a full break down of costs and will do their best to make procedures affordable while still being compliant with Insurance. I no longer dread going to the dentist and I highly recommend Lake Park to anyone who has had a less than desirable dental experience.

I recently was able to get my dental health back in check with the help from Dr. Graham. I am a recent college graduate and unfatunately negleected my dentel health for almost 3 years..Upon visiting Dr. Graham, instead of her scolding me for my lack of time and effort to make it to the dentist, she was so sweet about it and said "well youre here now". Her approach to her work, is incredibly welcoming and inviting. The staff at Lake Park is so incredibly nice. Kendal the gal who works the scheudling and payments is the sweetest thing & Amy the heigenist is just the cutest. The office is set up very comfortably - you do not feel like you are in a stuffy dentist office - you kinda feel at home. The work i did have done, was actually enjoyable. Nothing was uncomfortable by any means. The scheduling is very accomodating, i was very pleased to hear they are open late on Wednsdays! Lake Park is very conveniently located on Milwaukees East side, and very easy to park by and find. The worst thing is, it is right accross the street form Cafe Hollander, and it makes me hungry when I visit! :) I will reccomened Lake Park Dental to everyone looking for a friendly atmosphere and kind staff when searching for a new dentist!

I recently graduated from Marquette and began my post-grad life living in Milwaukee. I needed to find a local dentist who I could see for regular check ups. My friend recommended Lake Park Dental and Im so glad she did! First, the assistant is fantastic. She is timely about returning your calls and scheduling appointments at times convenient for you. Its really hard not to like her. The hygienist is extremely gentle which I appreciate since I have very sensitive gums. And the dentist, Megan, is fantastic (you should meet her on your first visit). Its obvious she cares a lot about her patients. Overall, I really do trust this office to help me make the best decisions about my dental health. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy small business in the Milwaukee area.

This dentist is very much over the top. On my first visit, I not only got x-rays but pictures of my entire mouth and an over the top critique. I also received a recommend for more than $1,000 worth of work. I have never gone to a dentist that tries to force care on you. They even suggest I come every 3 months instead of every 6 for a cleaning because they said my teeth were so bad. I have never told been told my teeth were anything other than up to par. In fact, in the past, Ive got rave reviews from my dentists and never needed anything more than a cavity filled. I only went to this dentist because I recently moved to Milwaukee from out of town, but Im never going back.
