I used to go to this vet, but since I have been going to the Raritan Animal Hospital I have not been back here. The office has the feel of not being renovated since the 50s or 60s. There is always a long wait to see a vet even when you have an appointment. I know that emergencies happen, but there is a limit to the amount a person can wait especially when you have a sick let who is agitated enough. They take care of your pet well enough, but what really gets me is the cost at the end. You will pay a lot of the service you get! I know some people are loyal and want to keep going to the same place they have always gone to, but for me this place just didnt work anymore!

Great Vet once you do your homework...do your research before going first to any vet for exams etc....if you adopted a pet from a shelter you get a massive state discount on getting them fixed. I was dumb and got quotes from 600 to 400 bucks from other vets...until I called the pound back to complain about the fee.. and they told me about the State Service. Vets policy is you dont ask they dont tell you about the service...Also save yourself some money and get a prescription. NJ State law mandates they have to give you one if you ask. I didnt, and ended up paying 60 bucks for 5 pills...12 bucks a pop...on line vet pharmacy for 5 pills 4.92 and free shipping.

I have been going to St. Georges Vet for 13 years with the same cat..for the past 8 Dr. Kim Delehey has taken care of our cat.....she is FABULOUS.....second to none.....she got married recently and left the place in June 2010....What a BIG loss... Went to Dr. Ayres Sept. 16.......she was a rude person and a disgrace to the veterinary world.....will not be going back to her......might have to make the 46 mile drive south to take our cat to where Dr. Delehey went...... Anyone know any good CAT friendly Vets in the Woodbridge Area???? .I also agree, that Judy at the front desk has always been rude......get rid of her and Dr. Ayres.....bring back Dr. Delehey

While wait times can be long, they are worth the wait. After all, good things come to those whom wait! I have been taking my pets here for 20 years. NEVER zip a bad experience. We used to see doctor smith. Unfortunately, he lost a battle with cancer a few years ago. The man was an angel. Before he passed, we asked for his recommendation, as to which doctor to see once he became to ill to work. He suggested Dr. Ayres. We could not be happier. While she is a tad brusque at times, she knows her stuff. Yes the lady at reception is downright nasty and always rude. Its worth pouring up with her for the level of care we expect.

I have been taking my pets there for 15 years. While I do agree with some of the waiting time comments I dont agree with the doctor comments. Dr smith was a great vet and missed but Dr ayres is now our vet and has been nothing but KIND and CARING to all 3 of our dogs. She always goes above and beyond to care for our pets. She even came in sick to make sure our youngest dog was being cared for when she having some severe problems.

Dr. Friedman is an A++++ Veterinarian. He is very experienced, caring and very attentive to my dogs needs. I have been going to him for many years and he has always given us good advice and expert medical care for my dog. He has a strong team as well. Our dog is a family member and we value his health and well being and I truly recommend Dr. Friedman and his team to all.

Each visit has been AT LEAST a 45 minute-1 hour wait to be seen by a Vet! No matter what day or time of the appointment, we always have a long wait - stressful for the person but also STRESSFUL for the animal! Always overbooked, were looking for a new place.

Was referred by Whiskers Rescue inc. This is the vet they use. Was very impressed with the staff and the care they exhibited. Very compassionate doc.

The wait time is ridiculous here. They dont take you in till an hour after your appointment. This is the 3rd and will be my last time coming here.

Dr bloom and dr scaglione are the best vets to take your pets to. Judy at the front desk is so rude, whether it be on the phone or in person.

Great doctors in a caring environment. Weve been coming here for over ten years after trying out two other local clinics.
