Part of being a retailer is not just selling the product but also standing behind it and servicing it. Optical World failed today at standing behind their product that they sold me a little over a year ago. With a manufacturer 2 year warranty they still told me that it would cost me $100 to fix the glasses and it wasnt under warranty. Very dissapointed to find out that my day had to end that way. Good news is that the manufacturer referred me to a new glasses place that will fix my glasses under warranty.

Pathetic Customer Services....Lazy store front dont want to move her *** so will tell you to go every where but for her to get it for you. They act as if they dont give a h*** about you and will keep on telling you what to do and if you dont agree, she will not like it. If you want to know how not to run a business, they are the best example. If the store is not doing good, i guess the reason is obvious. I hope the ladies are not related to the owner....nepotism will explain it all.

Horrible place YOU ARE WARNED. They prescribed me a prescription that was so high for me that it was giving me headaches. Went to my original doctor and she said I was wearing double prescription. Wasted fitting fees as well a 6 month supply of contacts. Not the friendliest place either. Sad to say that I didnt like anything about my experience and would never go here again.

Same experience as another customer: brought previous prescription (which had been pretty stable for years), but the doctor at Optical World modified it. I was seeing double with the new prescription, so she issued me the old prescription, with which I see fine. And she didnt have the time to see me again for a follow up exam to see what the problem was.

Optical World has incredibly bad service and staff. Over priced merchandise that they do not support whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and hit Lens Crafters across the hall from them instead.
