When my husband was diagnosed with dementia I knew I needed professional caregivers. After interviewing several agencies I chose Brightstar of of Emerson and have been with them for over four years. The level of care has been outstanding and consistent. Ive met the most compassionate, professional, and kind women who have treated my husband with respect and dignity. I have never been left stranded without a caregiver-even during hurricanes and snow storms, someone always comes to make sure we are ok. The office staff is always professional and accommodating even when I need care on short notice. Their team has always been a constant support system to me as well. Ive been fortunate to have the same primary caregiver for four years, which is rare. Her training and experience in addition to her caring personality helped my husband maintain his dignity. I am forever grateful to Patricia and the entire Brightstar staff for all they have done for us and highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for quality care.

My older sister lives in New Jersey. I am her only family and I live in California. Five years ago when she broke her hip I discovered BrightStar and they have been my lifeline to my sister ever since. Five years of loving care. BrightStar is an amazing resource and they really go above and beyond all expectations. BrightStar has been my "on-the-ground" substitute family from birthday cupcakes to finding just the right assistive living facility. Even though I am 3000 miles away, I have a feeling of security and confidence that there is someone looking after my sister. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We couldnt have asked for a more caring, compassionate agency to work with than BrightStar. Patricia and her staff were absolutely amazing - jumping in to help and adjusting to our needs beautifully. During a very difficult time, they were there for our family. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
