Save yourself the aggravation and do not use this veterinary hospital. I brought my pup in to get neutered. The office quoted me one price prior to the procedure, and then charged me $420 once it came time to pay. The vet put sutures that were not dissolvable and we had to bring the dog back for suture removal. The office attempted to charge us for that visit, as well. The office charges $20 for anal gland exfoliation. This is a 1 minute procedure, in and out. I brought my pup in for this and they charged $80!!! The vet stated that he charged that much because we did not specify anal gland exfoliation even though thats what she needed. The vet stated that he charged for a full exam, but he did not check my pup out at all! no weight of vitals on record. He is a crook and the office rips people off. To top that off, the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and not helpful. I will never take my dog to this office again.

A good and comfortable place to take your pet for a checkup or more critical care. Dr. Scott Stekler is a very good practitioner who cares very much for his patience. He takes the time necessary to diagnose the issue and will give you all of the information to make a informed decision. My dog has ruptured each of his knees and Dr. Sekler has helped us through this difficult situation. In addition I find that Dr. Stekler does not give my dog as many shots or tests as other veterinarians. He explains what each shot is for and determines with you what your pet needs. I highly recommend his practice.

Have been taking Violet here for years. They have lovingly cared for her as she needed to be treated two times a month. He is an honest man who does not recommend unnecessary treatments just to make an extra buck. This is something I ran into often in New York and other more posh vets (Ridgewood). I could not recommended Dr Steckler more. I tell all my friends and family to go here.
