The administrative staff is very professional and kind. Due to having moved traveling to this facility is no longer feasible but I can tell you that Dr. Giacona will address your concerns with respect and kindness. Unfortunately I was unable to receive Modafinil (generic Provigil) through Dr. G. as she had explained that her facility could not prescribe this type of medication. I am now able to receive this medication through another doctor and can now stop drinking 1-2 quarts of coffee per day. This being said I do not blame the doctor for the facility policy and she did suggest my going through a specialist for this. My records showed "anxiety" and I was puzzled since I had explained my enormous consumption of coffee (so that I could remain awake and able to converse) several times and this was not documented but I think the documentation is limited to what they are able to enter as codes rather than actual detailed notes. I think this is due to time constraints and I cannot fault them for this.

Dr Giancona is very nice, the staff is another story. I called to set up an appointment for surgical clearance, and the girl who answered refused to set it up for the time frame my surgeon asked for. She said they need the preadmission bloodwork before they will clear me, meaning she wont see me until 4 days prior, but the surgeon wants 2 weeks. i do not understand why the Dr cannot order her own bloodwork to clear me, im paying for it, not her.

The reviews are being monitored and not all are being posted. From this office, I have had doctors being recommended to me who no longer update their Board Subcertifications. In MY book this is essential. You must be up to date on ALL your certifications. If your not up to date, your missing critical criteria that is essential for giving the best care possible. If that is missing your screwed..

Everything is great here! Easy to get an appointment. Listen to and answer my questions. Good balance of checking things out but not going overboard with tests. Highly recommend!
