this is the worst hospital i have ever been to. my mom recently passed away at this hospital and she was treated horrible. my mom was in icu for 2 months and the icu doctors was so cold and heartless. DR. NUNEZand DR. GANDEV are the WORST INCOMPETENT DOCTORS I have ever seen, . they never had time to talk to us and when my mom was coming to the end of her life, they treated us even worst. They told us that our mother was going to died and said it with no feeling. Just because you are a doctor doesnt mean you cant show some compassion. The day my mom died in this horrible place the nurse DONNA wiped her name off the board before she even passed away, like they was waiting for her to die.the nurses was even worst. they would make us feel so uncomfortable to be there because we never wanted to give up on our mother and they couldnt understand why. AMY, DONNA, SHERRY ARE THE MOST COLDEST, HEARTLESS ICU NURSES I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED, THEY SHOULD BE FIRED FOR HOW THEY TREATED MY MOM AND HER FAMILY. The nurses and pct sit at the nurses station and gossip and text all day, like they have nothing to do, but when you ask them a question, they act like you are bothering them.t dont care what big name hospital they have now. its still a horrible hospital with unqualified doctors, nurses, and staff. NYP should cut ties with this hospital now before they ruin their reputation.I will never. ever step foot in this hospital again. I rather die on the street than to go to this hospital

Had a bad and frustrating experience at this hospital. My husband visited the ER for a minor injury to his 5th digit (pinky finger) requiring stitches, and the doctor he was referred to for follow-up care was a high cost plastic and reconstructive surgeon, rather than an orthopedic surgeon/hand specialist, part of The New York Group For Plastic Surgery in Tarrytown. After the first visit (where we noticed cosmetic products for sale on the front desk), we questioned the need for this type of care, but reluctantly paid the outrageous bill for less than 15 minutes of the doctors time. We ultimately found a hand specialist and orthopedic surgeon within the Mount Kisco Medical Group / CareMount for follow-up care and consultation on whether he should have surgery to fix a possible ruptured tendon. The hand specialist at MKMG/CareMount not only discouraged unnecessary cosmetic and reconstructive surgery but also charged less than HALF the cost of the plastic surgeon they referred him to. Really wish we had not entertained their referral at all. Please dont make the same mistake. Cant trust these folks. Make sure you question who they refer you to, at a minimum. We will avoid this hospital if at all possible in the future. If its not too far for you to drive, I highly recommend the MKMG/CareMount network - affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital. Theyre part of an ACO (Accountable Care Organization) and keep costs low and reasonable for the patient.

They can change the name, construct a beautiful addition and bring the hospital to A+ levels. However if they do not change the doctors and their staff it will always be Peekskill Hospital. I have been suffering from migraine headaches for almost four months I have been seen by Doctor Ubaid two times been for MRIs and been diagnosed with nerve damage. Just recently I had a appointment scheduled for a EMG. Only to have them cancel my first appointment, they reschedule me for another appointment a few weeks later. After traveling from NYC and getting stuck in traffic I arrived 13 minutes late, only to be told the doctor can not see me because I was late. For the last 4 days I have been woken from my sleep in pain, I have been told to put heat packs on my neck to relieve the pain. When I told the doctors administration staff of this condition they smiled and strugged her shoulder. Anybody that has experienced a migrane headache will know the suffering I have been experiencing, this type of care is totally unacceptable and I will be looking for different doctors.

Unbelievably INCOMPETENT!!!!! I went in to the emergency room to check for broken ribs after falling in a freak ice storm BACK IN FEBRUARY. My co-pay was supposed to be $100. They sent me a bill for $113. Since it took so long for my insurance company to settle (another bunch of incompetents at CHRISTIAN BROTHERS), I paid the $113 dollars with a letter because I didnt think it fair for the hospital to wait for its money for over two months. I AM STILL GETTING BILLS FOR THIS EVEN AFTER WRITING THREE LETTERS with the proof that Ive paid. Ive asked for the contact information for the Head of the Hospital and have received squat. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL. The incompetence is NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION!!!!!! ( I had to give it a star it doesnt deserve in order to get this review published.) I will continue to post negative comments UNTIL THEY FIX THIS PROBLEM! Stay tuned!

I was a patient in this hospitals Emergency room. It is a LIE that there is a no wait time. I sat in the waiting room throwing up to the point that my gall bladder start to spasm. I was in horrific pain. My husband kept asking the nurse at the triage desk to help with no help or compassion from her. All she did was say it will be another minute till I will be seen. When I finally was taken back to the exam area, I thought it would be busy because we had to wait. NO IT WASNT!!!! The nurses were all sitting at the desk chatting and the bays were EMPTY!!!! POOR CARE!!! I finally gave up and went elsewhere and recieved correct care.

If youre in pain from an orthopedic or nerve injury forget it. It will take them a month to order a MRI and theyll give you ibuprofen for pain. The only person who helped me, immediately after the incident, was an ER doctor 5 hours after I left the hospital. They will try to load you up on steroids to "lower inflammation" even if you are experiencing serious, horrible pain. If I am on my deathbed I hope they airlift me to Westchester Medical Center.

PROBLEM:the hosp blocks wifi access to email. You can connect to hosp "Free WiFi", but it blocks all email . Nurse told me it was to prevent staff usage of email while working. Ive been lying in the ER for 8 hours now & unable to email relatives where I am. (Yes I could call them, but dont want to repeat the same Q & A 9-10 times.) And the food that used to be terrific, now sucks, not that Ive HAD any today. They went cheap.

Warning**** Third floor 3 south . please dont take any family members to this hospital. This is the worst hospital. They are under staffed,rude, nurses have a problem doing there job! I lost my dad there today! because of them not doing there job! Their new logo should be "you can check in but you wont check out". this is not the end ! My family and I will not let another person die in that hospital! In our DADs name!

Im very impressed by everything at this hospital. From the moment of arrival to discharge, everyone I encountered did their very best to make the stay pleasant. The nurses were exceptional, the nurse assistants were so kind, they provided everything that was needed, were gentle, sensitive to my needs and understanding of my pain. I would not hesitate to come here again (though Im hoping I never have to). Two thumbs up!
