I was the third generation in my family to bring my pets to Chili Animal Care. Years ago it was a great office, other than the older woman at the front desk who should really think about a new career that is not in customer service. They provided great care to our animals and were very affordable. However, in the past few years it has become an untrustworthy office. My cat was having accidents quite frequently, and I brought her into the office. They said it was behavioral and to lock her in a small room to break the behavior. They did not run any tests. Her accidents continued, and I decided to take her to another vet. The new vet immediately did a urine analysis and discovered she had a very bad urinary tract infection. It was so bad from not being treated that she required two rounds of antibiotics. A year later, my sisters cat started having accidents. She took her cat in and they said the same thing. They also did not perform any test. I encouraged her to see another vet after his accidents continued. She took him to a different vet and after a urine analysis, they determined he had a very bad urinary tract infection. Because his was also not treated properly he also required two rounds of antibiotic treatments. Furthermore, my grandmothers cat became very sick this week, and she took her to this vet. They gave her cat some fluids and pain medicine, and then sent her home. The next day her cat was shaking and gagging. When my sister called to tell them the cat was in horrible shape, they informed her that in a day or two they could put her to sleep. My sister had to convince them to agree to see her that day. I highly recommend Stoney Pointe Pet Hospital. Please, if you care about your pets do not take them to this office. After these incidences, my whole family has changed offices.

This place did not help my dog at all. They were immediately rude to both me and my dog. I came in, and the first thing they noted was how long my dogs hair was. They criticized him on his hair length, even though the doctor admitted that we SHOULDNT cut dogs hair due to it keeping their body temperature stable, and also criticized our decision to not neuter our nonaggressive dog. They then gave our dog a shot, without warning us nor telling us what the shot was and what it did. After that, we had problems before with our dogs ears so we asked that they look in them. After them trying once, our dog snipped at them because he experiences pain in his ear so obviously someone digging their finger around in their ear isnt going to feel good. Then, the vet freaked out and told us to not come back because "they dont deal with aggressive dogs." He acted like our dog goes around biting people all the time and how some day we "may have to go to court and get him euthanized" because of how "aggressive" our scared dog was. It was very unsettling. Our dog just has anxiety when he goes to the vet and he almost is never aggressive and the dog snipping wasnt even a real attack more of a "please dont do that" signaling sort of thing. This place is honestly the worst vet I have ever experienced I would give 0 stars if I could. Unprofessional and rude. I felt like I was being verbally judged and attacked by the vet for no reason. Then they had the audacity to charge us 100+ dollars for an appointment that lasted 2 minutes and accomplished nothing. Horrible service.

I have five animals I transferred all of their Legal documentation and legal history here. Called them multiple times to make an appointment and they kept blaming previous vet for not sending over paperwork. Finally, the desk representative told me theyd had all the paperwork bit that they couldnt fix my female puppy because she was vaccinated at another vet. They first told me they couldnt take any animals ever taken care of previously at other places. Then they told me that they had to vaccinate my puppy all over again. GREED. Thats what they are. I told them I had all legal documentation and past medical history for all of my animals who are up to date with vaccines and they still refused!!!!!!!! They CHOOSE profit OVER care. Theyll be the first to complain that baby animals or animals are homeless, not taken care of properly, abused, or in shelters to be euthanized but then turn away helping stop these events because MONEY COMES FIRST. When I called to transfer all paperwork of my 5 animals to another vet, they in a snotty tone told me, "we destroyed all of your paperwork." theyd been mad I told them they cater about money not animals the week before. I threatened to call my lawyer because they admitted to "destroying" (actual literal words!!) the paperwork for my animals. Then the receptionist goes, "ok Ill fax your paperwork over." LIED in attempt to upset me but it was dished right back because they responded impulsively and naively thinking I wouldnt call my lawyer. THATS WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE THEY ARE. Need I say more?!?

If I could rate them a negative star I would. First, after moving from Brockport to Chili, and purchasing a pup I contacted Chili Animal care for an appointment. I was told I had an out standing bill from the 1970s or early 80s?? It wasnt mine but a relatives. But I had to fight to clear it up. Once done I had no problems until my German Shepherd became Ill. Dr. Schroeder examined her and prescribed medication and sent her home. That night after one dose she had explosive hemorrhagic diarrhea. I took her back in the AM and he prescribed yet another med. That night she was extremely restless, kept going in and out her door, hiding behind the chair etc. I called Dr. Schroeder.. His comment... "oh it just sounds like she has a pill caught in her throat". So I started sweeping her mouth and throat with my finger, trying to get her to drink water and she only got worse. I called again... To which I got "well if she isnt better bring her in in the morning"..... That night my daughter and I slept downstairs with her, I only dozed off for a little bit and when I woke up my girl was gone. She died laying right beside me. I contacted Chili Animal Care and asked them if I could return the meds I paid for that I felt they killed my dog. I was told no.... I also felt Dr. Schroeder was negligent. And I was NOT paying him. They later sent me to collections. Yes they are very money centered no empathy.

Been taking my cats here for many years, no matter where I happen to live around town. Friendly staff and vets, very comfortable feel to the rooms, clean, but welcoming. Competitive, even significantly lower pricing on many services, when compared with other vets and clinics Ive visited on occasion. Lower prices on prescription food orders than at other vets, stores, and always ready for pickup in a week. They also never made me feel judged or pressured about the handling of my recently deceased, 20 year old cats life care/end of life care. They were very supportive, gave invaluable advice on many occasions, and answered my many questions about every option for him. I will be endlessly grateful for that, especially to Dr. Meg, but to all the people there, for their personable, kind, professional service.
