If I could give no stars I would. I had my very first appt. there scheduled for 10:45 am and arrived at 10:40 am. I was asked to fill out new patient information and told my actual appt wasnt until 11:00 am. Good information to have had ahead of time, I do work for a living. When all was said and done, I was in that office for 1 1/2 hours. I was told they were short staffed with someone on vacation. At one point even being asked if I could wait 15 mins longer. I asked for my script to take with me, as their glasses are as overpriced as their exams and I left. I found out hours later that the script didnt have all pertinent information for me to fill it online. When I called to ask for the additional information I was told they only give it if you buy glasses there. I could come back and be charged an additional $25 to get it! Um, no. Ive since sent a letter expressing my frustrations politely, to which the only reply I received was a bill for an additional $27 that they short billed me for in the office. Just for the whole moral of the situation, I held off paying it to which that reply was a nasty letter threatening to turn me in to collections. Needless to say, I paid the bill and will never return.

I have been with that office for over 35 years when Dr Louis Baskin owned it. It has gone completely downhill since Pamela Brown took over. Bought lens last fall to fit in frames that were bought 2 years previously, frames broke, was told they cant be fixed and lens cant be used in any other frame. Out almost $300. So I decided I would go for contacts as a cheaper alternative to buying another pair of glasses. Complete hassle. Had to make 2 appointments just to get contacts Ive worn for years previously. I then got a call from their office asking ME what my upcoming appointment was for. When I went in for the appointment I waited over an hour, with BS promises that the Dr would be seeing me momentarily. I walked out. No call of apology. Was contacted about a week later by Amanda asking me to reschedule the appointment. I told her I was not coming back and explained what happened. She was all apologetic and said she would talk to Pam and get back to me. Never heard from them again. That was 3 weeks ago. Seems their only interested in the money. Pam Brown doesnt know how to run a business. Its a shame, Dr Baskin would be appalled. Stay away.

Costumer service is horrendous!! Staff forgot to order lenses 3 different times. Never call to tell me when lenses finally arrived, I needed to contact them each time to check status and second time they stated the lenses had arrived and scheduled visit for fitting and they had not actually ordered the lenses . First visit with optometrist was June 16 and it is now August 23 and I still have no contact lenses!

Dr. Brown was terrific and helped me find the right contact lenses - even let me try three different kinds of bifocals before I decided on a single prescription. I started wearing them to run road races. I was clumsy at first and poked myself in the eye. She saw me the next day, helped me recover quickly and I was able to wear my contacts at the Rochester Marathon just one week later.

Worst experience ever, the staff is rude and dishonest as well as the owner . Always makes excuses ...like sufficient staff on duty or someone is out on vacation. When it just takes a phone call, to call a customer to let them know the issue.
