Disappointing service. We have been taking our dogs/cats to Aqueduct for years but they just lost me as a customer -- I will not use this vet again. I called this morning with a simple question about my two week old kitten, but they would not answer a question and said I would have to make an appt two days from now and bring the kitten in -- they couldnt possibly answer a question over the phone! Ridiculous. They wanted me to take a two week old kitten out in freezing cold weather--I dont think so. That would be worse for the poor thing than the question I was asking about. So I called another local vet, and without my even asking the person answering the phone said she would talk to the doctor and call me back in a few minutes, which she did, with an answer. I am so grateful and they have gained a new customer! I will be taking my cats to this new vet from now on as they were so much more interested and responsive than Aqueduct. For years we boarded our dog with Aqueduct, but last year they couldnt even pronounce our new dogs name correctly...they used to know our previous dogs name whenever I called to arrange for boarding. It was always such a pleasure to work with them. It is clear things have changed for the worse with the level of service going straight downhill in the last couple of years--which is sad because they used to be so good.

No one ever go to this place. My dog died under their control and mine isnt the first. Brought my dog in to get her teeth checked. They gave her a rabies vaccination and shortly after she was acting weird then foamed from the mouth and threw up. She never had an allergic reaction in her life from a rabies shot. So they took her back in then gave her benadryl to "offset" the reaction. That didnt help so Dr. Pike then injected her with a steroid and still nothing. They then put her on oxygen and an iv and injected her again with a steroid. And they had no explanation as to what happened. We then brought her the an emergency clinic which, on the way she had passed. Worst part is, she was was a gift from my godfather who I just lost recently.

I have had nothing but great experiences with taking my babies here. I have a chihuahua that had to have most of her teeth removed and the anesthesiologist pretty much held her until I came to pick her up that night. I also recently had to have one of my dogs put to sleep after he was found to have cancer and was in so much pain. They exhausted every effort to first rule out cancer and keep him comfortable but in the end no matter what it was his time. They were so caring through the entire ordeal and even afterwards. I highly recommend this place. From beginning to end the entire staff are amazing.

Horrible Customer Service Horrible attitudes i now remember why i never brought my kitty back after her initial visit I had a simple question and i was already almost in tears and the women on the phone has a very poor and rude atittude and hung up on me without even answering the question. When we had brought the cat in for her initial visit they were just as rude as well the vet man handled my cat the whole time she whined and wanted o get away and shes a very calm tame cat so there was no reason for it. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!!!

We also brought in a dog who was attacked by other dogs. She was in very bad shape and although her death was horrible for us, it was not unexpected. She died 1 day after we were told she could probably come home within 1 or 2 days and was doing fine. Some time after her death we actually received an email from a staff member informing us that she was operated on without anesthesia and without a certified veterinarian present. You make the call if you want your animal receiving this kind of treatment.

queduct for almost 40 years even with a hiatus during the Dr. Rapp years....We came back because we found Dr. Pike to be an excellent vet to our 1 dog and 3 cats. The staff know my dog by name and treat her very well. She loves to go there and loves doggy day care. The techs and desk staff are WONDERFUL,kind and compassionate. The negative reviews are pretty unwarranted.

Dr pike.. Is great! He is the owner. I had an isusse with the female doctor there. He took over my case & since then my dog has gotten so much better. Ruth works the front desk & shes wonderful! I wold recommend you see dr pike. I felt he did a great job with my dog.

My families pets and now my pets have always come here. The staff is very pleasant and I can tell they all care for the animals and their jobs. I know they care about my fur babies just as much as I do! :)

Do not bring your loved one to this facility. My dog went in for a routine teeth cleaning and died under anesthesia. No explanation how or why. Unskilled and untrained techs and vet.
