Not only were his prescriptions for my children incorrect. Of my five kids - I was told four of them needed glasses - when in truth - only two of them did. When one of my childrens glasss plastic design started to peel off - within 3 months of having them - he would not replace them - even though there was a warranty - he said he had to resubmit to TennCare for "patients like me". My husband was out of work for a few months - and we had to use services - the first time our family ever needed it. I couldnt believe what he was telling me - I contacted the manufacturer of the glasses and they were more than happy to honor the warranty. When Dr Judd would not provide me with a copy of my prescription for her since I was not buying another pair of glasses - the only way for me to get another pair of glasses or frames was for him to resubmit through insurance again -LIE - the manufacturing company said they could only provide the frames since I could not send them the script . I later went into the office - on Halloween - when everyone but the one desk person was not there - since she didnt recognize me - she was more than happy to give me a copy of my childrens files. True stuff folks. I wish I could give it no stars. I should say that this occurred about 7 years ago.

I am new in town and was looking for an eye doctor when I decided to try Dr. Judd. One of my biggest pet peeves as a patient, is when the doctor youre seeing doesnt take the time to listen to your concerns. Unfortunately, Dr. Judd turned out to fit this mold. But worse than the pompous Dr. Judd could just be his staff. The office manager, Nikki, is extremely rude. When I asked a few questions regarding my visit, Nikki treated me as if I was a HUGE inconvenience to her. Its safe to say that after she had my money, she did everything in their power to rush me out the door. This practice was confirmed during my 2nd return visit for a contact check. At that time, I got the distinct impression that my appointment was once again a bothersome block of time to Dr. Judd and his staff. I would NOT recommend Dr. Judd to anyone. Take your money to an eye doctor who wants to listen and help you.

Judd prescribed contacts for my wife that were different from what she had been wearing. She could not see well at all through the new contacts and Judd refused to even try a different prescription or give her what she was already happy with. She said if he did not change she would not come back and he still would not change. Who needs an eye doctor that makes your vision worse!!!!

I had a friend recommend Dr. Judd after a less-than-great experience at one of the eyecare chain stores... Was very impressed overall. Dr Judd was very knowledgeable and friendly, put me at ease right away and I felt that he gave a thorough exam. Staff there is friendly and welcoming, felt right at home. Would recommend highly to anyone.

Many of my family members see Dr Judd and he has been a great help to us. He is very intelligent on all aspects of eye health. He has helped my daughter through some very odd issues for a child. We drive approximately 45 minutes to see him...which I wouldnt do if I didnt feel he was worth it.

Dr. Smith and his staff have been super helpful. Hes very attentive and kept asking me about my contacts to make we got the right ones. He knows what hes doing and I know I couldnt have done better. Excellent experience all around.
