I visited this practice for emergency dental work for a tooth that had broken off around a large filling. The X-Ray, as interpreted by the dentist (who is a partner in the practice) indicated to him that there was "decay" around the filling area, not enough of my remaining tooth to work with, and my only two choices were root canal or an implant procedure and pull the remaining tooth. It was clear from the conversation that he had a preference I choose an implant procedure. At that point, he sent in the office coordinator with a price sheet and payment / financing options for implant procedures totaling close to $4,300. Unknown to this dentist, I am an international business man and have done work in Panama, where in the past, I had dental services performed for costs that were 1/5 to 1/3 of the typical US services. At $4,300, I surely needed a second opinion, so I re-arranged my schedule and flew to Panama as I had business there anyway. My dentist there has worked in the US, Germany, and in Panama, and she removed the bad filing and discovered there was no "decay" around it, a healthy gum, and enough of the remaining tooth to work with. She strongly advised against an implant and ordered a crown procedure for $700. She flatly stated that the US dentist should have visually verified the "decay" he claims he saw, and verified the tooth and gum area under my filing before sending in his implant payment plan coordinator to pitch me for $4,300. The crown procedure was performed, and it was highly effective. I dont write reviews on local businesses, but I feel in this case, it is warranted. My personal opinion is I was "hustled" for an implant procedure. This dentist, at the minimum, should have taken the next step of diagnosis and tried to verify if it was at all possible for me to keep my real tooth and work with what was left to keep the roots, nerves intact, etc. Sending the payment person in was a clinical short cut, at best, or fraudulent or negligent medical practice, at worst. Make sure you shop the other dentists in the area if you need anything beyond the routine. I had options many people dont (this is known as "medical tourism" and it is a thriving industry in nearby places like Mexico, and in places like Panama and other countries). Why? Medical services are, extremely expensive in the US, people need to pay cash because the insurance is horrible and / or too costly, and in some cases, medical practitioners take advantage of patients who are not careful and wind up paying, in my case, $3,600 more than I had to for the wrong procedure for this patient (but not for the dental practice). I cant recommend this practice. This practice should review their protocols to prevent this type of potentially fraudulent or clinically negligent practice from occurring again.

Update: No, you have not made numerous attempts to contact me although you have made numerous promises that you would have the owner call me which never happened. You had been sending bills to the wrong address even though I changed my address with you in January. I posted a picture of the last 3 attempts to email Gina since apparently she doesnt have a direct number and shes never in the office. Why is it so hard to get a call from a manager when a patient has a problem. Also, I completely understand how my insurance works and you can take you little passive aggressive jab about educating me right back because I could educate you on how to answer an email one day. Everyone Ive called your office your front counter girls are so irritated about not having any sort of organization and not having the office manager consistently in the office to handle issues. They all say Im so sorry but Im new here and Im not quite sure how to go anout this process yet. Hmm, wonder why you have a new person answering the phone so often. Bad businesses seem to usually have a high employee turnover and unhappy customer yelp reviews. What a coincidence that you have both. Get it together. Original review: Really horrible manager. Gina has failed to contact me on multiple occasions after mishandling my account. The last interaction I had with her she offered to have the owner contact me and I havent heard a thing. She has gotten a tone with me many times about being short staffed and not being able to keep her obligation to follow up with me regarding my bill. It took me over 6 months to get my bill and once I revived it they realized that they didnt send a portion of it to insurance so now Im stuck with an inaccurate $1,000 bill that is about to be sent to collections the very week after I received it for the first time and Gina is too busy to contact me and theres nothing they can do because they use an outside bill agency!? You have got to be kidding me! Awful horrible place.

I moved to Phoenix in February 2012. Three weeks later one of my molars broke and I needed to find a dentist...quickly. So I "googled" dentists near my home. I was fortunate enough to find Paradise Ridge Dentistry and "Dr. P"!! I HATE having dental work done, as I rarely have cavities and I only go for routine cleanings. I was terrified to have a "crown". Dr. P was amazing! I never even felt the Novocaine because of the way he injected the needle into the gum area. The entire procedure -- from beginning to end -- was painless and seemed effortless for Dr. P. I then started my regular cleanings with Paradise Ridge Dentistry and have been a faithful patient ever since. I have referred many people to this practice...3 of whom have been using Dr. P. I have since moved 15 miles away from his office and I have multiple dentists within one mile of my current residence. However, I continue to go to Paradise Ridge Dentistry because Dr. P, his front office and business office staff, and his hygienists are AWESOME!!! I now need another crown. Guess where Im going????

I knew before finding a dentist that I needed some serious work done. Im border line deathly afraid of dentists because of past experiences. I was listening to Doug and Wolf sports radio in the mornings and Wolf is always talking about this dentist office so I made an appt. I thought I was going to have an appt with Dr. Allen but when I got there it was David Kloss. This guy is sooo professional, put me at ease right off the bat and his work you can tell he takes pride in helping people and their teeth. He has a patient for life so I hope thats a long time because I wont go anywhere else. I live in laveen and drove the 45 minutes to see him. I will keep doing that forever. As for the ladies in the office, they were very helpful and nice and made sure my insurance was all good and touched basis with me about all info I needed. Especially Danielle. Thank you so much Paradise ridge for everything!!! This was an AMAZING experience

I heard of this dentist thru my favorite radio peronality Mr. Ron Wolfley and many times on my sports radio 98.7. About 7 years ago my wife had a very horrible experience with another dentist so I thought. I would be a good husband and take her to Paradise Ridge becauae of all the rave reviews they have. My wife needed new dentures and have dental surgery performed because she needed to get everything re-aligned on her jaw and I can definitely say that this dentistry is truely a full service all under one roof and we were very impressed on how they serve water to you on a silver platter for being new patients!! Talk about outstanding professionalism from the entire staff! My wife cannot wait to get her new custom made dentures and I cannot wait to see her over joyed smile!! Yes, I would recommend this dentistry 100%!!
