I wouldnt take my cats here again under any circumstances. The vet tech offered to trim the cats claws, but never told me it would cost $13.99. Then Dr. O didnt introduce herself to me even though I was a first time patient. The vet then confused my two cats, prescribing medication for the healthy one instead of the sick one. Then they said that the worm (from stool) that I brought in was only string but that they would look at it under the microscope. They never told me the result of this until I called back later when the front desk girl told me "Oh, it was tapeworm. Have a nice day. Bye." Finally, they gave my cats two vaccines (which I now believe were unnecessary)... and after 21 years of having multiple cats, I have NEVER heard an animal scream the way that mine did they got their shots. I cannot warn enough against this place.

Family vet clinic over 40 years. Dr Samson even can handle my female umbrella cockatoo without a nip. She fell asleep as he rocked her on her back, calling her his little papoose! He cares. They arent in for the $ but love of our family. Not even my husband can touch my Kyle as she was abuse by men. All my pets are rescues . Theyve been understanding when we have missed appointments due to our poor health. My husbands stroke/paralyzed and my several hospitalizations in comas. Cant make them when unconscious! The staff is so over and beyond knowledgeable and kind. I really cant thank them enough. Dr John Austin was our first vet,1970 something . My aunt assisted there. Their prices are better than most. Cant put a price on love and care they show! Thank you, Shea Animal Hospital!

This place killed my dog!!! After changing his seizure medication per Dr. Farrington two weeks into the transition he started showing signs of abnormal behavior I called the vet office to get the Dr. advice. No call back! Four days later he entered the longest seizure hes ever had I took him to the ER they pumped Valium into him and hours later the seizures finally stopped after three days in the ER doctors that worked there contacted Shea Animal Hospital to speak with Dr. Farrington still they couldnt get a hold of him. I tried nursing my dog of 12 years back to health but it was clear he was gone and I had to make the tough decision to put him down. Dr. Farrington Im calling you out your negligence has taken my best friend away and you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Be warned

We foster and rescue greyhounds, and are frequent customers of veterinary clinics. Shea Animal Hospital has a great staff and terrific doctors who care deeply about our pets and our own welfare. We recently had to say goodbye to an aging cancer-stricken hound and as painful as that was, the folks from Shea Animal Hospital handled it with extreme professionalism and dignity.

For all those who come and review this place I can tell you that Dr. Garthy is the best surgeon I have ever had, she gave my dog tonka more time to spend with me before I had to say my good byes to him. Very thorough Dr. Recommend her to those who really love thier animals verry inexpensive surgeon.

This is an independent Veterinary practice. Nothing corporate. Very personal. Everyone I met in the practice was professional, helpful, accomodating and informative. My cat is very skittish, and she felt at ease there. Prices were fair. I recommend this practice to anyone who loves their pet.

I am not one who ever writes reviews but I have taken herd of different animals here over the last few years and always gotten exceptional care from the staff and time from the vets. I would strongly recommend them and havent found them more expensive than other vets.

Has been my dogs vet for nearly 10 years. Helped me to care for my senior dog his last few years and our current dog since we rescued her. I have not felt as comfortable with a vet as I do here.
