I have been taking my son, Sterling S. to Dr. Barone since before he was 10 years old. The one review who only complained about Dr. Barone needs to have a psychological evaluation. My son would always look forward to his visits with Dr. Barone. The Dr. always made Sterling feel very comfortable, and always listened to me when he asked me what Sterlings symptoms have been. I liked how Dr. Barone also asked Sterling direct about how he was feeling. Dr. Barone has a magic way with children. I do think that the kids can actually sense "the kid" inside Dr. Barone which is probably why my son always liked his visits. Even on the visits when Sterling was going to get his vaccinations. He still wanted to go. Sterling and I both have heard Dr. Barone talk about that "big shot", but it has always been in fun. Obviously, that parent who didnt like what he said, needs to get a sense of humor for heavens sake, and lighten up. Sterling was never traumatized by anything Dr. Barone said. Sterling is now 14, still an honor roll student, and even was awarded the Stellar Award by his teachers in the 8th grade. Sterling was treated by Dr. Barone for his Asthma, which he now has outgrown. His goal in life is to be a professional basketball player. Sterling is able to run around the court, hours at a time without any breathing issues. By the way, Dr. Barone was right. When Sterling was still an infant, Dr. Barone measured Sterling, and said, "Sterling is going to be at least 63" when he grows up. Well, like I said, Sterling is now 14, wears a size 12 mans shoe, and is already 6 tall. I have to disagree with that one review, Dr. Barone does know what he is talking about. Dr. Barone was the best medicine for Sterling, that we ever came across. Keep up the great work! Might I add, you might want to write a script for a "happy pill" for that unsatisfied parent. We dont live in a perfect world, and no matter who you are, there will always be at least one person you just cant satisfy. But, WE LOVE YOU and your "receptionist".... signed A Satisfied Parent.

I grew up in the medical field so I am no dummy. I took my sons in for a well visit as were looking for a new ped in the area. To my disgust- the doc did a half-a$$ed exam, barely answered questions, would interrupt me when I tried to answer his, treated me like a moron and flung rude/snide comments at me because of my immunization beliefs. To say I am disgusted is an understatement. I have no more knowledge of how my sons are doing then when I went in. No growth percentiles, growth markers, no scoliosis check...all I got was look in ears, listen to heartbeat and told their fine. I DONT RECOMMEND HIM TO PARENTS! Also told my son if he didnt listen to me (he was minding by the way) that hed give him a big painful shot in the but next time...wtf? You dont say that to a 10yr old! I am filing a complaint with the board.

Dr. Barone is Arizonas best pediatrician! I was a patient of Dr. Barones when I was a child and now both of my children have him as a pediatrician as well! He is thorough and kind. He has a special way with children. His receptionist Tracy is the kindest person and will always make sure you get seen when you need to. Unfortunately Dr. Barone is moving away and we are very sad to see him go. He is irreplaceable!

My kids love Dr Barone. He and the office clerk greet us warmly every time we arrive. Dr Barone always explains whatever is wrong with my kids so I can understand. His office is quite far from my house, but he is so worth the drive. He is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise so he knows what hes talking about.
