Dr. Ford did not check to see if I was single sighted or not I was born with one eye nearsighted and one far sighted. When he did the catarac surgery on my left eye, he made it the same as the other eye. I was not asked or consulted. When I checked back with the office, they stated they show me as same sighted from the time I came into their office. Since I was born this way, Ive been careful to go to an Opthomologist for eye problems. Unfortunately there isnt anything I can do about this now. I feel my eyesight would be considerably better if he had kept my sight/same as it was. NOTHING was ever asked if I wanted to change my eye sight and never dreamed this could happen. Nothing can be done now, as it would cause blindness to take this lens out of the eye now. I couldnt figure out why everything seemed so messed up, but when I finally went to a different doctor,, they explained what happened. This was several years ago. Just now looking for another GOOD opthomologist to deal with the other eye. I will be very cautious since Im now very afraid to have anything else done, but know it needs to be taken care of in the other eye.

Had an awful experience with the payment. I called the insurance and we had a clear understanding. The woman the handles billing Sharon, is never present at work, does not pick up the phone, and cannot deal with insurance. Recommend to look for another clinic to avoid similar situation.

Dr. Caserta is, by far, the most qualified and knowledgeable ophthalmologist that I have ever been to. Wonderful Dr and very nice man. His staff is excellent as well. They are all very nice and kind.
