I recently moved to Conway and have been searching for a new PCP. Upon contacting Freeman Family Medicine, I was emailed new patient paperwork by a lady named Shana. This was over a week ago. I filled it out promtly, disclosing all requested information including medications I am prescribed, and returned the information via email to Shana. Thursday, I called to see if she had received the information. She had. She said after the doctors looked it over she would call me with an appointment. I explained to her that I really needed an appointment because I was almost out of my blood pressure medication and had no refills. She assured me that I would receive a call for an appointment by end of business on Friday (the following day). Today is Monday. I called two hours ago expecting to receive an appointment. Shana answered the phone when I called. She told me it would be just a little bit and she would call me back with an appointment. I got a call a few minutes ago from a woman who was not Shana. She informed me that the clinic could not take me as a patient bc I take medicines that they are not able to prescribe to me. The medicine she advised was the Clonazepam I take one a day of and have for the past five years. I advised her that I wasnt pill shopping and needed to be seen for my Diabetes and high blood pressure. She said that another clinic would suit me better. Are you kidding me? After more than a week of emails and calls? She said that there was a portion of the new patient paperwork that says the clinic wont supply benzoids. She asked if I disclosed my prescription for benzoids. YES, I DID!!!! Now, Im without a necessary prescription and a doctor. Great service, Freemans!
