Tried to schedule an appointment for myself for my skin problem as I have psoriasis and Im not embarrassed to post that online. It is a skin disease that has NO CURE. I was previously a patient of Dr. Drayer whom I absolutely loved and when I called to schedule an appointment to see him the receptionist told me he was no longer with them, so I asked for another number and I was told he changed careers... Even though I was bummed I went ahead and scheduled hoping for an appointment ASAP as I ran out of medication and my skin was starting to bleed and itch and become extremely scaly. The receptionist was not able to give me an appointment til May 4th with Dr. Constantine and I asked if they were able to fill my cream prescription as that is a long ways. The receptionist explained she would have to ask and get an approval, so they filled my prescription and I received a call back from the office. The person I talked to would not give me her name, she was extremely rude and difficult. She was condescending and made me feel really stupid and small; however she pushed my appointment to March 30th and I thought about it for the past few days. I called today to cancel and I talked to the receptionist and asked "hey who scheduled me when I called the other day" she told me it was Dr. Constantine herself. I was in shock that a physician would be that rude. I work for a doctors office and I was in shock w the unprofessionalism especially coming directly from the physician. I will never ever come back to Bakersfield Dermatology and if a Dr. can talk to their patients the way she talked to me then she shouldnt take care of people. Doctors are compassionate people who have their mindset to take care of peoples health and to empathize with their patients, not to make them feel dumb or belittle people. They are there to educate the patients and advise them the best they can medically. Im very disappointed with Dr. Constantine. Too bad Dr. Drayer is no longer there. If I could put a negative 2,000 stars I would because Im embarrassed for the Dr. for acting unprofessional. There should be standards they abide by. I dont recommend anyone here... Not even people I dont like haha as health does matter!

Very disappointed. Made an appointment December 29th had noting available until January 20th got there to the office no knowledge of appointment. Fine asked me to fill out paperwork and co pay. Money first before care which is what all doctors seem to do. They wanted my full social security number I put down the last four digits ( as front office disgruntled staff have a tendency to steal if fired etc) I refused to give it. They told me Id have to pay a $100 charge for NOT giving it. I told them no. The manager said we need it to send your details to collection agencies. Told them too much fraud with medical employees. She refused services without it so I walked out. I know the doctors must know this but I cant afford my information floating around out there.

Worst service ever. My daughters skin has been really bad due to eczema. Its red, bleeding, and nothing is helping it. When calling to get an appointment the soonest available was 2 and a half months from the date I called. I set the appointment because our pediatrician wanted us to see a pediatric dermatologist and just now got a call that they need to cancel my appointment and set it for another 3 weeks later.

Horrible. My wife is sitting here in excruciating pain because of what these people did to her hand. They will not do anything for the pain theyve caused, and the receptionist could not have been more rude. I will never go here again, and will go out of my way to steer people away from going here.

Have gone here for years for my annual "skin check" and appreciate not having to wait long in the waiting room. I go to Anita Garrett and like her manner; she seems very knowledgeable. My husband goes to Dr. Crowley and likes him.

The front office is Rude and not friendly at all. They are not concerned about your health and will not schedule you in a timely manner. Always have 1-2 month waiting time.
