I have been a patient with the clinic for almost 20 years, along with my kids, once they stopped seeing their pediatrician. They have a lot of turn over, due to lack of ability to pay the higher dollar amounts to keep the doctors in place. I have had issues with this clinic and with our private doctors, which were always worked out. If not by the doctors, then by their supervisors. I guess my point is for the amount of low income individuals who only have medical or partnership, which none of the private practices want any thing to do with, they work really well to make your appointment a positive one. They may not read your whole chart before you come in and mistakes will be made; unfortunately, but i am grateful for what they have given this community, focusing in on best practices and always learning from any mistakes made. my hats off to the hard work they have to do in order to fulfill the needs of our little community and keep us all healthier.

Most of the medical staff seem disinterested and quick to hurry though appointments, even after waiting for sometimes hours. While it is a beautiful and modern facility, its sadly wasted with Drs and nurses who couldnt care less about your needs as patient. (Really, between my visits they have been very bored seeming to straight up rushing to get out, even with sensitive medical topics.) The kindest employess Ive encountered are the front desk staff. Decent place to get your kids antibiotics slung to ya, but very little help in actual patient wellbeing and care.

Its amazing how two of the reviews that are recently posted are very discriminative to "poor people". It would be nice to be treated as a human being other than a dollar sign." The horrible service speaks for it self wether the majority of people are on medical or not.Citizens of the United States who are receiving medi-cal are equally right to be treated the same as someone who has private pay insurance. Equal rights is not something this facility practices even though its a community wellness center that is open to the COMMUNITY.

They are capable of diagnosis and treatment, which is more than I can say of Redwood Urgent Care. They ask for very little money for their services by comparison too. (A $30 co-pay vs a $100$ co pay and Urgent care cant even diagnose most ailments. They cant even give you and ultrasound! Point being I favor this clinic in all regards and will continue to be a patient here

The care I receive from my primary care provider, Chris West, NP, is excellent! I have insurance and could choose other providers or clinics; however, my goal is quality, patient-centered care---and this is exactly what I receive with Open Door and Chris West. I also am pleased with the use of technology at Open Door---the mychart system is awesome!

Ive been taking my 79 year old father there for over a year and a half and have had no problems. They get us in as quickly as they can and the doctor my fathers sees is always in good spirits but to the point.
