While some may appreciate the low prices and flexible payments, Dr. Zamora unfortunately keeps very partial and selective financial records. A billing arrangement isnt a service to your client if records of prior payments are omitted. My elderly mom (who passed a few months ago) claimed several times AEZR was double billing her for our family cats and pug. After paying the last bill out of my own pocket in 2014, theres still no record of any such payment or any other payments for the past 4 years -- which is incorrect. The last time I paid a $100 installment in order to get a $15 gland expression for my pug mom got upset, claiming shed already paid off the outstanding amount and that I should not pay them anything more. When we had our second cat Corky put to sleep in 2013 (which was paid for). She had been ill so Id left her overnight. In the morning, she was in deplorable condition - worse than when she was dropped off. Dripping and soaking wet, shaking and clearly miserable. Couldnt they have at least kept her dry and warm? I was so sick that she spent her last night on earth that way. Dr. Zamora also has a rather brusque and chilling bedside manner during euthanizing and actually whistled to himself during and after the procedure. They then tried to charge a hefty disposal fee plus $50 PER NIGHT to keep her in their freezer while I made arrangements for her burial. When I went to pick up her remains, I got back the same box with towel that Id brought her in. I buried her little frozen body myself. Today, I brought in my pug with a mammary tumor - waited about 30 minutes and after being admitted to the exam room, Zamora brought out his file folder with its incomplete records and said a remaining balance would need to be settled before he would look at my pet. He flatly refused to acknowledge the prior payments and after paying for their services for several years actually accused my recently deceased mother of lying and had a few choice words for her and myself. Unbelievable. Please, do yourself and your pets a favor and avoid this vet and his practice. His family/staff is friendly and supportive but that cant make up for the horrible attitude, cavalier treatment of euthanizing and animals and the blatant fraudulent billing.

Prices and care both from decades ago -- might be OK for shots & the simplest check-ups, but thats all! he didnt suggest anything could be done for my mothers cat with chronic renal failure (learned a year after her death that it has been normal for crf cats can have normal lives for months or years with simple treatment), he brought her body out in the carrier uncovered -- it took a "reflex" breath and he just pushed the air back out with a shrug when I pointed to her in horror.... sent one of mine home unconscious/floppy after surgery with blood oozing from the incision claiming it was "normal" and shed wake up -- seemed surprised when I told him she died a few hours later when I was rushing her to the ER vet for seizures (a vet tech friend said the description I gave fit that of massive/fatal brain damage and he shouldve done bloodwork to ensure she had no anemia or anything first -- it wasnt even suggested)... Im a wreck still even thinking about those poor cats...

Very wonderful Dr Emilio is very good with on call emergency Appts he is very flexible and if need be will perhaps take pmts. which is rare , he has seen two of my cats over the last 30 years !! I trust their office Dr Zamora his daughter is also great and will be taking over when her father retires ! I cant say enough to praise them.

Friendly and Clean. Price are reasonable. Emilio and staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Its nice to walk into a hospital and are greeted by name and know the medical history of my pets.
