I scheduled an appointment at this clinic to have an established primary care physician since I dont have insurance and they are supposedly part of a "low-cost" health care program in Sacramento. When scheduling my appointment over the phone I clearly stated that I did not have insurance and that my visit would be a private pay. When I arrived at my appointment, on time, I was told after waiting for some time and after filling out my paperwork that they only excepted cash. This was never mentioned when I made my appointment. As a result I had to walk to a nearby business to use an ATM. This could have been completely prevented if their staff made it part of the scheduling procedure to tell patients that they are a cash only business. Beyond this annoyance, the employees at the front desk were rude, spoke very pour English and what they did communicate was so lacking I was left feeling as though I was somehow inconveniencing them to explain the simplest things to me a second time because they did such a poor job the first time. As I sat in the waiting room I was forced to over hear an extremely unprofessional conversation an employee was having with a patient over the phone. The employees tone and choice of words was so far out of line, I couldnt believe she was employed at all with such poor etiquette and communication skills, let alone in the medical field caring for ill people. Once I was taken back by the physicians assistant and had my vitals taken, it was clear that these people were all in a serious rush to get me in and out of there as quickly as possible. Finally, once I say the nurse practitioner (though I had also clearly stated when I made my appointment that I wanted to see a doctor and that I would, in fact, see one) it became apparent that she was not interested in giving me the best care she could. When I tried to speak, she cut me off, when I tried again to tell her what was going on with me and why I was there she cut me off again and then forced me into being quiet by listening to my heart. I never got to discuss my symptoms, my concerns about my medication and the medical history I was able to provide for her was spotty at best because she simply would not listen or engage in conversation. This place provided me with, by far, the worst medical care I have ever received. I left with a prescription in hand and have absolutely no intention of going back there for any services. I encourage anyone who has had a negative experience with them to write a review, make a complaint or say something. Even if you think it may fall on deaf ears. Sacramento Community Clinic is part of a consortium that receives federal grant money to operate. There is no reason why any person seeking services from them or any of their sister clinics should tolerate such unprofessional and inadequate care, whether they have insurance or not.

this is my first time rating a place and i would NOT recommend this dental office to anyone, in suite 204. the staff here are RUDE and they never answer their phone calls. After calling several times when answered, i was put on hold for 25-30 mins and shortly after that, the staff hung up on me. i never had the chance to tell her that i was calling to schedule an appointment.... The call after that, i kindly informed her that i was on hold for 25-30 min and hung up on. she did apologies and asked to put me on hold again. i waited for another 20 mins and still no response. i was in pain because my winsome tooth were coming in, all i wanted to to get an appointment schedule. i decided to drive up to the office myself to make my appointment. when i walked in, i wasnt greeted and had to stand at their window for about 2 mins before they asked if i needed help. the same staff who picked up my calls was sitting on her seat talking and laughing with her other employee who was on her cell phone. i told her i was there because i tried calling to schedule an appointment and i was hung up on twice and i shouldnt even had to drive out to their location just to make an appointment. she then scheduled me an appointment less then 2 min but did tell me that i cant be seen till another 2 months and it would only be for an ex-ray. i was not happy because it was an emergency. worst customer service ever!!

My dad goes to this clinic because the people there are hmong and speak hmong. So one morning I went early to the clinic with my dad to see Dr. Tou Vue. My appointment was at the same time as my dad. We were like the first ones there, our appointment time was at 8 am and didnt get to see the Doctor until 9 am. Talking about being the first there and still have to waiting so long. The front desk people are rude and unprofessional. If you call them up you will be put on hold for atleast 5 minutes even though the place is not busy. I saw the doctor so he could sign my disability paper. Dr. Tou Vue made a remarked at me, "Why dont you just go find a different kind of work, if you cant stand for long duration?" This doctor is suppose to be educated and not talking like towards a patience!!! I went and had X-ray that same day and was told that within 2 days or so I should be able to pick up my disability paper. I waited more than 1 week and with several phone calls to the place with no result. All the receptionist told me was I will get the Doctor to get it done for you......thats like 3 to 4 times hearing that line from her. So finally, I am sick of this place and went back to pick up my paper so I could go see a different Doctor/clinic. This is the worst worst place anywhere....

I was assigned to this clinic last year. I never really knew how inept they all were until I needed real help, you know like with a disability claim. the diminutive Asian man who cut me off in less than a minute proceeded to argue with me and berate me. I had waited 2 months for this appointment and even was given a referral to a specialist who does not accept my insurance, they basically told me to go find one myself, kind of hard to do without a doctors referral. after waiting a week and a half I was left a message that I would have to see the doctor himself, I know that is not necessary, but this practitioner knows I am in a health crisis and am homeless so by dragging this out he can inflict more pain and suffering on me. I believe he is biased toward me in more than one way, not the least of which is culturally. the entire staff mirrors his attitude, so unless you are Asian I would skip this place, they seem to take a perverse delight in doing absolutely nothing to help anyone with anything.

worst clinic ever. insurance changed my meter and test strips again so I need the doctor to right a prescription for another meter and strips and I explained to them that I have no more test strips to test my sugar levels and it was urgent to get more. the doctor refused to right me the prescription because I missed 1 of my appointments do to the fact I had a dental emergency and instead of an extraction they had to perform oral surgery. the doctor said he will write another prescription next time I come in but there is no appointment available for more then 2 weeks. this place is asking for a lawsuit!
