TO INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN YOUR CARE OR PAYMENT FOR YOUR CARE We may release medical information about you to a friend or family member who is involved in your medical care. We may also give information to someone who helps pay for your care. Unless there is a specific written request from you to the contrary, we may also tell your family of friends your condition and that you are in the hospital. UNTRUE. LAWS BEING BROKEN. I called on my live-in spouse whom I am medically responsible for, and the"self-described NURSE who i.d. self as PAUL GARCIA" said only talk to patients family (brother, sister, and parents). NO INFORMATION given otherwise, sorry.... I asked when patient be back so I can visit, PAUL GARCIA said "NO INFO released to you. YOU are not family....." When I brought my spouse into the ER, he had pneumonia and shortness of breath, lay there in hospital room for 2 hours before a M.D. came to look in. Patient lay there for 3 hours and RN nurse stated "Ill take him up to the room. I asked what room when RN came in, RN stated "NO ROOM. Have to stay in ER bed until a bed opens up." Staff should be more professional and not lie about their facility. Care is substandard. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. Be sure to go elsewhere next time. Patient rep got patient to sign "MEDICARE paperwork. I stated patient has 100% health coverage, no need to sign. Patient rep said, no--need signature still." SOUNDS really criminal medical facility making ill patient sign without reading.

From Alhambra hospital ER days after I take my daughter with a very high temperature of 104.1 I believe so now Im at San Gabriel hospital ER with my daughter did check her temperature and they also give her some tylenol medication to bring down the temperature they sent her home with a prescription of medication and she still sick for a few days with a high temperature going up and down so I decided to go to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. She was submitted right away first thing they did take an xray of her chest and they found out she had pneumonia one thing Alhambra Hospital did not do or San Gabriel hospital did not do also. The doctor right away gave her an IV for dehydration and also and IV of antibiotics to cure the infection she was camped there for over 6 hours making sure that she got well two doctors for looking over her they will not release her unless she got better something that Alhambra hospital did not do or San Gabriel hospital I dont even give a star. I highly recommend Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena and I give it 5 stars. They care about your children health my daughter is doing well now and Im thankful doctors at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena God bless them both for caring for my daughter.

I got a bad experience in ER. I got an US appointment at 08:15. Due to Saturday their X ray department was close. They refer me to go to ER instead. I wait till 09:00 than the ER staff try to help me to register but she cant find my appointment on the list. She try to add me in & she requested the Authorisation letter & my MD order . I didnt have the order on my hand so I went to my MD office try to get it & found out that the office was close due to long weekend. I called my MD & he told me to go back to ER & hell give them phone order. By the time I went back & they said they will call their supervisor but they suggested me to come back on weekday because the supervisor didnt want to get the phone order. Finally the staff brought me to talk to her supervisor Carmen per my request. Than she finally promised to obtain the order from my MD. Eventually I had to wait in the X ray department & had it done and went home at 12:45pm. Im so hungry & upset. Its only an 1/2 hour procedure & it ended up took half of my day.

it is junk hospital , and the doctors are unethical. if you have any surgery, please dont go to this hospital untill you want to die. my cousin, died in this hospital in 7 years ago. and he lost the heart activity. when he went to that hospital, the heart active again. and the doctor said they cant save him. within 10 hours, no doctor come to save him. when he lost the heart active again, the hospital unplug all equipment right away--what the XX. last month, my friend had surgery on this hospital, and within 21 days, he kept fever, and went back to this hopital twice, and the hospital cant find any issue, and send him back home. finally , he went to another hospital, today, the new hospital said it is after surgery infection, and he come to the hospital on time, otherwise....... . Right now, he need the very expensive drug for the infection until 3 weeks. (the drug can buy a house :().

At Labor and Delivery the staff was excellent. I was admitted for high blood pressure observation and the nurses were very caring and attentive. The rooms were very nice and clean. They also made sure my husband was very comfortable. I was sent home then returned once again and they were great. The 3rd time I was admitted, i had bronchitis and the nurses made sure I was better before transferring me to get my c-section. Everyone post partom was excellent as well except for 1 nurse who for left me completely unattended for a shift. But other than that everyone was very professional and caring from the CNA s to the nurses to my Dr.. Even the people from the kitchen brought my husband and I a special congratulations dinner with Apple cider and cake. Excellent!

Just returned from a scary visit to the pediatric ER with our 19month old. She basically had the croup gone bad. From the get go everyone was kind, efficient and knew how to approach our daughter. Nurse Kelly was lovely. Dr. Tamarin was truly one of a kind -- my daughter is always terrified of the doctor (even her GP who she knows) and she loved him. In fact, she told me she didnt want to go home after 5 hours of treatment and observation (hooked up to monitors and being poked and prodded). Truly -- the medical treatment was great but their ability to work with a 19month old was outstanding!

My father was sent to the hospital last month for a possible stroke. he stayed in the emergency for 3 hours, no treatment was done, but only tests. Then he was released home after 3 hours. We received a bill for $15000. And not including the doctors bill. My father almost got a heart attack after he saw the bill. This is not a honest facility, trying to rip off a honest senior citizen is a crime!

I dont like how the emergency rooms house more than one patient. There is absolutely no privacy there besides a curtain. I heard everything that was happening to another patient. Its a bit unnerving when the RN just recites whats exactly on the lab report instead of using simple terms non-medical people would understand. I felt like they were practically trying to side-step giving me answers.
