My brother was transported to this place at 3 pm and waited in a hallway until 9 pm for a bed in a room where there were 3 other spaces empty. Thats 6 hours on a gurney. He was accompanied by me with my ESA dogs. When he was taken to his room one lady was upset about the dogs. She was told they are ok and she stopped. The next evening when I came in the main entrance she was at the greeting desk and saw the dogs and asked me where I was going. I told her the room number and she said I couldnt go there because there were other patients in the room now. The man behind the desk explained to her that they are therapy dogs and that they can accompany me. She didnt quit this time and got a facility guard to escort me off the property. I had come a very long way to unfamiliar streets to see my brother and I was denied access. I am the contact person for my brother and so far I have not even received a call about his condition. This is very upsetting. Someone needs to explain to those people that there are different levels of service dogs. Mine are emotional therapy dogs. They are not seeing eye dogs or dogs that perform assistance by opening doors or picking up things. They are present to comfort people. That is their job. The police suggested that I leave them in my car. I have had the police called on me and called all kinds of names for leaving my dogs in the car at night just to get a few things at a grocery store. I wanted to try to get my brother to eat or drink something.

This facility has their telephone number listed incorrectly on the Internet and on their documents given to their patients upon release. On their website their telephone number including the area code is correct. However, if you google the facility the Internet gives the number with a "310" area code instead of the "562" area code that actually belongs to them. Additionally, this hospital was giving out old emergency room release forms to patients they released from the hospital with the "310" area code instead of changing the form or crossing out the old number and replacing it with the new "562" area code. This telephone number with the "310" area code and same main 7 numbers as the hospital happens to be my cell phone number. This has been my cell phone number for over 13 years! So I have been getting telephone calls from patients, their family and other entities associated with the hospital for this many years or more. You can imagine my frustration and that of those trying to reach their loved ones who were or are being cared for at this hospital. I have filed compliant after compliant to no avail. Next, I will take legal action for the strife this has caused my myself and my family receiving so many calls over the years. I now am asking for the hospital to pay my cell phone bill dating back to these 13 years since they have neglected to resolve this issue after being informed of this error repeatedly.

Came here when I severed my left thumb with gushing blood and immense pain. I waited unattended to for over an hour while the nursing staff tried to locate some surgical foam for the fix. The pain was very severe, and they kept forcing me to get up and move while they took xrays on someone else. The worst part was when the Dr. Lieberman tried to make me feel like an idiot and a druggie for asking for medication for the pain. He proceeded to lecture me on how "in this country, we cant just give out narcotics to anyone coming in off the streets". Well excuse me doctor, but just because you work at a ghetto hospital in the hood doesnt mean all your patients are derelicts and drug addicts. At that point, I told him I did not want to hear anymore, and proceeded to get up and leave without signing their bullshit discharge paperwork. Never coming here again if I dont have to.

My 2 year old son was non responsive & this hospital was in network so we ran him there. Right when we got there one of the nurses was so rude to us & started making me feel like a terrible mom & then the doctor- Meeks, James E M.D was terrible. He talked to me like a was dumb & not helpful at all! When your child is unresponsive that is one of the scariest things a parent could go through so you expect them to be caring & helpful! Come to find HE was not in my network... How do you go to a hospital that is in network but the doctor they provide (who was mean) is not in network. Never go here. Its terrible. I NEVER write reviews but my experience here at this hospital & with that doctor was so bad that I want to stop anyone else from have having to witness this kind of behavior when your already in a scary situation.

Mother went in for dehydration and vertigo. They kept her 5 days and only after she was able to beg her doctor to come and have her released would they remove everything to let her go. It was like prison. Fed her the same gross food everyday she was there. No change to the menu. Just slop of turkey gravy looking stuff with frozen veggies. Really a terrible place. Shooting, and stabbing victims being brought in every so often and hanging out in the halls. Just simply horrific. Never again would I come here.

First of all they sent my mother home with internal bleeding. They never even bothered to figure out where it was coming from. She was in there for four days and they barely helped. The doctors did not even communicate together. One of the doctors even prescribed her aspirin when it clearly stated on her chart they she is allergic. They also gave her blood thinners when she is already anemic and has internal bleeding. To be honest if something happens to her it is there fault for not acting.

Worst emergency room ever, medical assistant was nice but the doctor was really rude, he gave me an explanation of.why I shouldnt have gone to the e.r and how it was nothing serious and he belittled me when we started talking about the issues that I have and when we had different options he decided to end the conversation and left the room. Worst customer care, terrible work ethic
