The visit was good. But be careful with after the visit. I got to go to this hospital twice last year and received a bill for the amount close to 5000$. First and second visit was for the same reason. My daughter got a splint and they didnt catch it on the first visit. Second visit, I went to there cause I thought I will find the urgent care at the same location. I even ask the receptionist and she said yes. I received first 2 bills which surprised me, since I was expecting an urgent care visit for the second invoice, but instead I got the Emergency Room invoice instead. They wont help me a little with the bill and the best they can do is an installment payment. Thats that. Another surprise came after I though I am done with bill from those 2 visits. I was wrong I got another 2 bills from East Valley that cause me another 1200$. Called them and they said their will be a different charge for the physician for emergency services. They said they will give me a discount for me as long as I paid the whole bill. I did pay in full. I found out after that my insurance calculated the claim wrong and they will pay the amount to the hospital. I am expecting a refund check from the hospital cause I already paid the bill in full. Today, I found out that that money wont be refunded to me, but instead since they said that hospital pay the money to them, they just cut my discount and put that money plus the one that I paid to the bill. The bill that I already paid in full cause I they said they gave me a 30% discount. Cant you believe that they do that? They should be ashamed of it. Money reaper and they are not even shame of doing it.

OMg FIRST TIMER.... i waited at the ER for over FIVE s not a hours and not too many people there finally they called me and had no room for me so they stuck me in some kind o broom closet with a curtain i was told because it really was not a room i was not asSigned a nurse...go figure....the rooms are dirty and old ...oh wait...before they stuck me in the broom closet they sat me in these five smelly torn chairs there iwaited another hour.. also the wheel chairs dont turn and have no feet rests and nurses have to look everywhere for one....but most of them in ER are Broken .and before i got put in the broom closet i asked if i was next since the wait was so long..one of the nurses said..."oh thats right sorry we filled your bed" ..they forgot i was there...finally someone came in to drAW BLOOD and twenty minutes later someone else tried..i was like "someone already did it"....also with the xray....NO COMMUNICATION...well maybe because i was the women in the broom closet...... IF YOU WANT A BLAST IN THE SEVENTIES PAST. THE BRADY BUNCH BELL BOTTOMS go to Whittier hospital not to be confused with WHITTIER PRESP (BEST HOSPITAL )l..omg lets not even get into the hospital stay....good luck to everyone who goes here..actually the admitting team of nurses were good but after they left it was down hill ...oh shout out to "ming" the nurse... asian guy honestly he was awsome and attentive....nurses should take bedside manner class from him......It can be a nice "charming hospital but really upgrades are needed and the ER rooms are SCARY, DIRTY AND DARK...a little more TLC AND nurses in er please be a little more human

Worst hospital ever! I work at a hospital so I know how a patient should be treated. My mom went in through ER on Saturday morning and ER doctor wanted to admit her for 1 night for observation of her heart. Everything was fine and nurses were very professional then someone showed up, my mom was not sure who he was, wanted to give her an injection but her IV was clotted for reasons. He said he will be back and never showed again. Far as we know, my mom never received that injection. Then the next day, we waited all day for the attending Dr. to show, the nurses only stated that he will be here but just don’t know when. I finally called the nurses’ station at 5pm to demand they call the doctor to see if he will come or send someone else. Turn out the attending doctor has taken someone else’s shift and total dismissed his with no messages or consideration. Finally another doctor show and discharged my mom and said will return with a prescription. Again, the doctor left and never showed again. We have to chase after the nurses to get the doctor for the prescription. More than half an hour later, we finally got it. Seriously, this is how a patient to be treated?! The doctors have no accountabilities? Patients to be treated like second class citizens? Never again will I take my love ones to this hospital!

My Mom was taken by ambulance to Whittier Hospital Medical Center at 2 am on a Sunday. The staff working at that time didnt seem very knowledgeable about the problem my Mom had. The person who drew blood from her told me they were going to draw her blood every 2 hours. I asked why and she said they were monitoring it because of her heart condition. She doesnt have a heart condition, and that isnt why she was brought in. They did a lot of testing unrelated to the reason she was brought to the hospital. Her G tube came out and they should have been taking measures to preserve the site. She was there for about 7 hours and no measures were ever taken to keep the site from closing. I know of 3 people who have died at the ER at Whittier Hospital Medical Center. Their family members were all dissatisfied with the treatment they received. My Mom had been taken there before and at that time I was satisfied with the treatment. Im asking she not be taken there again at this point. Im afraid of that place after the strange treatment she received this last time. The hospital is seriously in need of remodeling. The ER needs upgrading. Very dingy looking ER. They seem to cater to the unwashed segment of society. The local Friendly Hills people dont seem to use the ER there.

Red flag!!!! Do not go here for any reason. Horrible hospital. Wife was in excruciating lower back pain. Practically screaming from the pain. And they took 5 vials of blood and urine to "test for pregnancy" which I know now especially by reading the rest of reviews was overkill just to charge more $$$.they made her change completely into a gown even though she cant even reach her knees from such bad pain only for them to not even look or touch her at all.entire time she was treated like a druggie and they didnt belive her pain even though she asked for patches since they wouldnt give meds in which they denied as well. In the end they sent her home in extreme pain with over the counter pain meds suggestions and now were expecting a huge bill from all these vials of blood they are gunna sneakily test instead of just for "pregnancy" just to charge for each test they do.urine wouldve worked dont see why they needed that much blood too. Wouldnt recommend this place to worst enemy. Avoid this place at all costs. Really dont want this to happen to anyone else.
