This is a great clinic for my pets. It got so I was unable to spend the high prices of some of the designer pet clinics in Marin County. My Golden Retriever, who is the light of my life, needed a mass removed from her chest. I had taken her to our regular clinic in Marin, which I love, but they were going to cost $1200. I also took her to SF SPCA hospital to see if they could do the procedure. They gave me an estimate of $1800 to remove a lipoma... The lipoma was located in an area that affected her running so it really had to be removed. The Marin Humane Society recommended Dr. Hoskins at the Redwood Veterinary Clinic. I was very happy with their professionalism and their excellent care they gave my girl, and the best of all is that they only charged $500, including keeping her overnight to make sure she was okay.

Yesterday (August 21st 2016) our little cat Sasha had to be euthanized. Shed been sick for a while, and as my usual vet was not available at weekends I needed someone to look at her urgently when she took a turn for the worse, and so went to Redwood Veterinary Clinic. The staff there were super helpful and friendly, and the on-duty vet was very attentive and sympathetic. He did some tests, and confirmed our worst suspicions, even coming out to the parking lot to our car to break the news and our various options at length to us with great patience. We decided to euthanize our kitty, and I attended, holding her while Dr. Hoskins gave the injection. It was dreadfully upsetting, but carried out with great compassion and sensitivity. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.

Aboslutely ridiculous dont even think about bringing your animals in during the middle of the day because there is not a single doctor in the building while they are all on lunch (all at the same time by the way). Not even a single doctor or nurse to cover another while he/she is out on lunch or anything. Its also ONLY AN EMERGANCY CLINIC AFTER 6. Even if you have the animal with you right then and there they will not take your animal in. The big receptionist at the front with the poofy and curly hair is an abosolute joke at her job and doesnt have a single sense of ergency in her body. Was in no hurry to help, only shood us away and told us to go and find another pet hospital. This place is a joke and should not have an Emergency sign on its face.

First of all they insist that my 6 week old puppy get shots(I had only went in for a wellness/health check), which is basically money down the toilet, then say they wont charge me for an office visit then do anyway. AND they didnt even deworm my puppy which I wasnt thinking about at the time, but its THEIR job to do all that. I left paying a bill of over 60 dollars for basically nothing. I wont be going back.

8/2014: I used their emergency services because my cat attacked my dog. They were very fast, very efficient, reasonably priced, and I will return anytime I need emergency services. 7/2017: My dog got a tick for the first time, I walked in to ask about how much it would be to take it off ( as Ive never done it before) and the receptionist did it right then and there!

I have had a few times where I have had serious issues with my pet and they have been compassionate, caring and when another "high priced, fancy overhead clinic" couldnt diagnose Parvo, and we thought our pet was going to die, Redwood saved her. I am very grateful and would recommend them to anyone.

Joan (the office lady) and all of the other staff have been very good to me and my 2 cats. Overall i would recommend them to almost anyone and they are one of the most economical vets ive ever been too.
