I have always gotten my glasses at Target Optical. But a recent move made me change store locations. When I made the appointment I let them know I was moving from another location and asked if they could get my records. They assured me that it wold be no problem. Once I arrived, they did not have my files. But I figured that an eye exam is an eye exam. Boy was I wrong! This doctor did not do as thorough of an exam. There was even a weird comment about how I must see better with my glasses while driving. When I stated that I was not aware that I should be wearing them when driving, she back peddled and said something to the tune of "oh well, I guess you could wear them while driving". My husband was in the room and was equally confused. Fast forward to when I received my glasses. The lenses themselves were almost double the thickness of any other pair I have ever worn. But I thought that maybe my eyes changed that much. Wrong!!!! This prescription is so off that I can see better with them if I turn them around and look through the opposite lenses. I work odd hours, so just dropping them off is not an option due to the fact the store is not open when I am awake. I tried to call the store 10 minutes prior to closing one night to discuss options, and they wouldnt answer. Yes, I know that it is 10 minutes to closing, but they should still be answering the phone! Now Im afraid that I am stuck with a pair of glasses I cannot use for another year until my insurance will pay for another exam!!!

I always have trouble adjusting to a new pair pf glasses. They are so very helpful and patient when/if I need to try new lenses and such. The team there always does everything they can to help. It is rare to get exceptional service anywhere these days. They really take ownership of their department. Special thanks to Britney for all the help!
